riley walked quietly around the edge of the woods, his pack
was probably nearby. he could hear a few paws crunching on the snow. his ears
swiveled forward as he watched the lights from town flicker. usually they didn't venture
too far into town, but around this time of year prey was scarce. they tended to scavenge
for food when they couldn't find anything else to eat. but scavenging was dangerous,
and often ended with the pack being shot at. he didn't know exactly how to execute
getting into someone's yard to get into their garbage or just finding hunting scraps.
they were lucky to live in alaska where hunting was a common way of life, although this
didn't make it any easier, hunters were dangerous to be stealing from. he let out a loud
bark to signal his pack to come closer, after looking for a while he had found a cabin with
meat hanging from the rails of the porch. a dinner practically served to them. he looked
at his pack and nodded his head, "alright, see that cabin over there? there's meat hanging
on the porch and that's our dinner. be safe, and don't get killed." he told them, a brief
summary of what would happen, then slowly trotted toward the cabin.

jezebel followed closely behind her brother, her ears tilted back as
she watched what he did. her curiosity nipped at her insides, what did riley plan to do? she
wandered nearby, looking out at the vast expanse of wilderness twinkling with lights from
the city. she wagged her tail softly, her paws shifting on the cold ground. she yipped in
response to riley's bark and ran up to stand by him, she knew what he was thinking though,
and it didn't take long until he spoke. after he was finished she jumped around with
enthusiasm and quietly slinked behind him, ready to snag the food from the hunter's porch.
her shoulder blades were high as she followed, her nose twitching and ears perked forward,
excited to finally get a good meal.

Raptor had been wandering nearby, sniffing in the snow for any signs of possible prey, until she heard Riley bark for the pack. The call didn't sound like it came too far away, and the white shepherd quickly turned and headed towards the sound. She followed him, his sister, and some of the other dogs that had come closer at the call, until a cabin, and of course it's meat, came into view. Raptor could almost imagine what it would be like to get one of the racks of meat from the cabin, and she almost dozed off for a moment daydreaming about it, but quickly shook her head clear of the thoughts as Riley began talking again, explaining the basics of their plan.
Raptor decided that the best way she could help was to be a sort of lookout sentry. She veered to the side as she walked forward, heading for the side of the cabin, where she could watch the landscape nearby. Her ears perked and eyes alert, the skilled scout was ready to alert the pack of any possible danger that came their way.

At the sudden sound of the leader barking, Sven hurried over towards it. He had been just wandering around, sort of looking for prey, but of course not a single scent of any prey had been caught, so he was happy to be distracted from just snuffling around in the snow. As the pack searched, Sven couldn't help but gaze towards Jezebel every once in a while, and he was often distracted by her for a few seconds at a time, before he had to shake his head and blink many times to keep himself concentrated at the task at hand... Er, paw. Eventually, they found the cabin. Hurrying up so he could see, Sven's ears perked as he gazed out at the meat hanging on the porch. He grinned and his tail wagged madly behind him, overly excited at the sight of meat after such a long time of food shortages.
Sven decided to follow after Jezebel and Riley as they approached the house, slinking slyly towards their proposed dinner, keeping his body as low to the ground as possible. He watched the others first, mimicking most of their actions. He definitely didn't want to screw this up, especially not in front of the dog he had a mad crush on.

Ash walked around her den, made out of a hollowed log. It wasn't much but she called it home. Her ears swiveled and her head jerked to her left as she heard voices. She jumped away from the sound and quickly scattered from where she was. She was sure it was the pack that lived nearby, though she didn't want her presence in this territory to be known.

Dax skulked slowly behind Jezebel, watching her curiously. His ears flicked at each command made by their alpha. He doubted the plan, he really wanted food, but it wasn't smart to be on a hunter's land. His dark brown eyes watched Jez's paws on the ground, he didn't want to be going so close to that house but if it'd feed the pack then he'd go along with it. His black fur was a shadow against the moonlit ground, his nose twitching at the smell of meat. He was sure it was deer, maybe elk, whatever it was it made his mouth water.

Ears held up on her head, and tail draped behind her she could hear her pack near by or what she assumed was her pack. Her paws crunched in the thick, tightly packed snow as she made her way to the noise till a bark met her ears. Alpha. Her body picked up a pace not because she wanted to see the male or the rest of the pack but because she was curious to find out why he was calling to the pack. Tail swaying left and right her ears perked and mouth watered as the smell of food met her nose, oh sweet food! How long it had been since her stomach rested in silence. Her paws hit at the ground quickly as she paced herself to the pack; spotting them her eyes flicked to the moving forms and the lines that held the food. FOODDD! Her mind screamed at her, her limbs seemed to move on their own as she could feel them hitting at the ground quickly carrying her with ease she blew past the alpha and a few other dogs on their way to the cabins, full speed ahead. The food was calling to her and there was no stopping her frame.

Maw spreading as she locked in on the target the young omega pushed off of her back paws into the air to sink her teeth into the food.

His ears were held up on his head as he walked in a proud stance through the snow, he had been in this pack for long but he knew what a hard life was. Placing each paw carefully into the snow his head spun to the bark of his alpha as he picked up into a trot and covered the ground between him and the pack. His deep brown eyes scanned over the small group marking who was there and who was not; making a mental list of who was missing and who was not. Head turning gently to spot the alpha he listened to his words carefully and eyed the building. There did not seem to be smoke lifting from the chimney so he figured no one was home but they still needed to be careful anything could give them away.

The large male moved to the flank of his alpha and watched as the other dogs went into motion but something caught his eye a small grey looking dot flying past at full speed. Tiger Lily the unpredictable wild omega. A growl escaped his maw in announce as his eyes flicked to his alpha and then back to Tiger Lily; she was going to get them killed...

riley watched tiger lily run past the pack. he let out a deep growl
and ran after her, letting out a quiet bark to make sure the rest of the pack remained
where they were. his paws thudding against the hardened snow as he caught up to her.
as she sunk her teeth into the first chunk of meat he latched his jaws onto the scruff of
her neck and yanked her back onto the ground, pinning her down, his ears falling against
his head as he let out a deep growl. his gaze flicked to the cabin for a moment, still no
sound or movement from the building. then he turned his attention back to the omega.
"a stunt like that could've gotten the whole pack killed!" he snapped, looking the fae
dead in the eye. his blue gaze was filled with anger, he cared too much about the pack
to let an omega put them in danger.

pack, but her head shot up at the sound of a thud, riley dropping the fae to the ground.
this wouldn't end well. her tail was tucked between her legs while she watched the
scene breakout in front of them. her light blue eyes flicked over the others, and to
her right where vix and sven stood. she sighed and sat down on her haunches, her
ears shifting at an attempt to hear what riley was saying.

Her mind was locked on her target, the food, the dear and delicious food that was right before her, just a snap of the jaws away. Her jaws widened and just when she was about to snap down on her prize something else snapped down on her. She could feel her body being yanked back at the sudden strong yank of someone or something, and quickly gravity kicked in and down she went with a thud. She could feel the cold white snow engulfing around her as the air was knocked out of her lungs and out into the cool air. Her vision blurred for a moment as she tried to make since as to what just happened until her eyes adjusted and a top of her her alpha male. Riley. Quickly her ears pinned in submission but only for a moment, or at least until his comment met her ears and they changed their pin quickly, now a threat. Her deep eyes quickly met his striking blue eyes and she returned his growl pushing her paws against his chest to keep his snarling maw away from her's.

"Me almost get us killed?!?" Her eyes did not waver from his but she kept her tone low. "You act like the humans are in there! There is no one home!" Another growl escaped her maw as she glared hard into the male's eyes. "Least I made a move to get the food instead of sneaking around like it was going to bite back!" Maybe she was stupid or maybe she was just brave either way this vixen was not going to take this laying down. No pun intended.

His eyes had just locked onto the form of Tiger Lily when the alpha male was quickly atop her and yanking her back to Earth. Litarlly. Wincing at the thud as she crashed into the cold snow the male moved to the side of Jaz and Sven and whispered softly. "That vixen has a death wish..." His ears perked to try and listen to what the alpha said and was rather shocked to see the features of Tiger Lily change and she was talking back! His ears laid back and he averted his eyes from the scene before him and let out a heavy breath. This was not going to end well.. But none the less the pack had a goal and the alpha had the trouble maker, as always, under control. That vixen needeed a leash. His eyes scanned the edgeds of the cabin and windows, no movement spotted. Good. They were not made out... yet.

His eyes flicked over to the Beta male as he went to make a move toward the Omega but backed down when Riley stepped in. Vix shook out his short pelt and let out a small bark to Beta in an attemp to get his attention. They needed the food, the alpha could handle an Omega. They needed a plan.
