I'm looking for a book, but I don't know the name or authors name, I just know some of the plot..
The main characters name is Bird but it's only a nickname for Roberta I think? She doesn't speak to people but I think she can read animals minds? She rides a horse (forget his name) and lives I think as a foster kid on a farm. I think it's a mystery book.
Yeah, so thats all I got.. Anyone able to make sense of my garbled memories?
The horse was abused and I think the book is about catching the person who abused him? not a 100% sure

EDIT: I think the horses name is the name of the book >.<
