But... then does that mean it's 1987? Because then Golden Freddy would be still in commission, and the murders would have JUST happened, since the first game takes place in 1997, and the second is a prequel o3o ))

Dyre felt just as uncomfortable as he had before, though he only really feared the gold bear. He was sure that he counted over 5 animatronics and wondered how they were all able to have their own thoughts and fears. This felt like something he'd only read in books but it was all too real. He looked into the corners of the rabbits eyes as it spoke, and Dyre found some sort of fluid building up in the corners. He shivered and kept silent, answering his own question.

But that changed the whole storyliiine! Godfrey wasn't in the basement for ten years, he's still the original Freddy, and Foxy isn't in disrepair as of yet! And then also the whole place would be upgraded past what it is, and the guard's wage wouldn't be so low! ))
