Mapleshadow rolled her eyes at the toms remark. "Trying to not freeze. It's only leaffall but I swear it's as cold as leafbare." The she-cat fluffed up her fur as a brisk wind rustled the trees above the camp and sending a cold breeze down to the cats below.

Salmonfall chuckled with amusement, stopping a little ways down the shoreline. "Okay, I'll be a rival clan cat. Remember, keep your claws sheathed." She meowed, fluffing up her fur so it nearly doubled in size. She let out a menacing hiss and narrowed her eyes threateningly. Salmonfall gave a lash of her tail before tackling her apprentice, her claws sheathed.

Blitzpaw ducked down at the last second, and while her mentor was flying over her, Blitzpaw leaped up, head-butting Salmonfall.

Blitzpaw used her paw to lessen the blowback Salmonfall caused and leaped onto her mentor's back, jamming her paws hard onto her flank.

Salmonfall felt a twinge of pride at her apprentice's excellent moves. Salmonfall shook her off with ease before skillfully taking her head on, landing blow after blow onto her shoulderblade, starting to move closer and closer into the woods.
