Thomas and Ashley
He sat comfortably on a chair by the window looking down at the people that rarely passed by. A sigh escaped from him as he wondered if anything 'exciting' would happen today in Troy. Maybe if he wasn't scared to not to, he would help out the sentrys. Being bored of just sitting down he stood and walked towards the kitchen, stomach growling for it to be sastified by food. Opening the pantry he searched for a can of food. After moments of shuffling around the pantry he turned towards the door. Walking a short distance he made it to the front doorway. Opening it he looked out catiously, always afraid that something would come out of nowhere.
"Hi Thomas!" Ashley yelled out from below. Thomas let out a small yelp and jumped back not enjoying her sudden arrival. She craned her head, laughter erupting from her mouth, upwards the house being on stilts like all others. After collecting himself Thomas threw the retractle ladder downwards. Quickly Ashley climbed upwards and jumped into the house pulling the ladder up after her. "Whatcha up to little bro?" She said lightly as she ruffled his hair. He flinched not liking the sudden movements of her at all, "Just going to go look around for food." "Oh well then lets go," She stated as she grabbed him by the arm and pulled him back towards the doorway. Instead of using the ladder she turned towards the walkways. She traveled over them with a bit of a bounce in her step, towards the cafeteria maybe there could be something there.
[sorry its a bit short couldn't really think up much at the moment^^;]

Sunda.
"This is not a damn community outreach programme!" Sunda barked at the seven year old that had been reaching for her potatoes, sending him sprinting off in adrenaline fueled fear. Eyebrows furrowed and lips pressed thin, she scooped up the remaining food items she had dropped, 'You'd think the little b**tards don't get fed.' She sneered mentally, wondering who the hell lets their kids run around in the middle of a zombie outbreak all by themselves. 'It's stupidity, thinking your safe just because you're surrounded by four walls.' Sunda had been through many safe zones, and she'd seen many of them fall because of a lapse in security. 'When are they going to learn that zombie don't quit and that a bunch of humans fenced into a patch is like shooting fish in a barrel. It's too good to resist.'
Standing up from her crouched position, the foul look refused to leave Sunda's face as she realized her hands were covered in dirt from the ground fresh potatoes, 'Just my f**cking luck.' She thought to herself, her internal voice acidic. Pulling out a fresh cotton handkerchief she quickly removed the dirt from her hands, making a fuss to get every last little particle off; it was this almost paranoid attention to details that had a group of foul mouthed young men calling out with a series of wolf whistle. "Hey their little fairy, when the hell youse gonna grow some balls? Or do you just like seeing them on men instead!" He and his little cohorts guffawed, finding their 'joke' quite hilarious. "When the f**k are you and your friends gonna get laid? Oh, that's right, you wont. No female within a hundred kilometers would touch your d**k, I doubt even a zombie would want to put that in its mouth; it wouldn't be very filling." She quipped right back, not even bothering to look back as she walked on towards "home."
Not too far from the pack of mongrels she stopped, however, as a new piece of fluttering white paper caught her attention. Giving a blink she took a couple of steps towards the cork board before snagging the bottom of the piece of paper to keep it from fluttering around and obscuring her view. 'Meeting, tonight, what fun.' She thought, her eyelids dropping as she imagined the mind-numbing boredom that most likely came with it. Unlike most hill-billy's Sunda found in this great state, she simply found all the yelling an immense annoyance. It seemed not even a zombie apocalypse could make adult grow up and act maturely. 'Might as well go, I've got nothing else better to do.' She finished with a little huff, right before she felt a heavy hand drop onto her shoulder.

[ I really feel bad taking the opening in Brute's post. xD -steals anyway- ]
Arsen twitched, a movement caught out of the corner of his eye forcing an icey cold shiver up his spine. He crouched instintively, dropping what he was carrying with a clatter and pulling the nine millimeter out of its holster by pure habit. Nothing but a shadow coming in through the building's solitary window. His breathing slowed as his fear silently left. He pulled himself up on the edge of counter, rather curious as to who on Earth was actually reading his notice. (Miracle.) Most people cared more about sitting in their house hyperventilating about escape routes and whether zombies would get in the compound during the night. (Himself included; it wasn't like he could hear someone screaming to warn others, and it was likely no one would give enough of a damn to wake him up.) He picked up the fallen stapler and gathered up the scattered papers. Holding them in one hand, he left his fingers on the grip of his sidearm as he shuffled back to the other side of the room.
He watched the shadow move and glanced up at the window from his place in front of the door. His vision was obscured by the film of dirt and pollution (and other [censored] that's in the air), and he really didn't want to touch the grimey pane. He nudged open the door and caught sight of two people. One was some gender confused person (possibly Canadian) and the other was that guy who scared the Hell out of him, all 'Nam veteran crazy and biker tattoos. He closed the door softly behind him and took a few steps back, positioning himself out his striking distance. A lot of people found it creepy when he stared at them as he always did, but hey, it wasn't like he could hear them addressing him.
Evan removed his hand from Sunda's shoulder, "Mind moving, my lord?" he asked, emphasising "lord" in a bitterly sarcastic way. He gave a small irritating bow before appearing to ignore Sunda as he squinted at the cockeyed print on the notice. "Dumbasses don't know when to give up, do they? Don't they realize no one gives a damn about anyone but themselves anymore?" he laughed before breaking into a coughing fit. "Agent Orange acting up." he muttered in explanation, mostly to himself. He patted his pockets for a few sections in a frantic quest for a cigarette, producing only a crushed, empty carton from his breast pocket. Right. He'd already smoked his stash all the way down to the filter. Disappointed, he turned his attention back to the person he had moved out of the way. Something with an 's', right? Whatever. "You actually plannin' on going?" he seemed oddly bemused by this, as though another person to argue with would make his night.

Thomas and Ashley
They traveled along the walkways, looking down at the people that walked below them. Every now and then sounds and voices filed the air. The shriek of a little kid running around happyly, the bark of one of the sniffer dogs that was taking a short break, and the occasional, "Achoo!" that erupted out of nowhere due to Thomas's allergies. Every time one came Ashely looked at her little brother with a slint hint of worry, for every day they seemed to turn worse and worse. She wasn't one to worry so suddenly but she knew that one day those little sneezes could put him in deep trouble.
After several minutes of walking around the city hall came into their view. They looked around for a ladder and Thomas pointed to one that an ignorant resident had left out. Quickly climbing down it they released a sigh as their feet touch the ground. She contently walked on the sidewalk that was terribly damaged next to the asphalt road, jumping across the wide holes and deep cracks. He decided that the normal road was just okay for him.
"So I heard that today they're going to hold a meeting," Thomas calmly said to her. "Again!" Ashley yelled out in annoyance, she never really like going to those things. Didn't enjoy being ordered around. But most of all didn't enjoy the company of strangers that were always there. "Yes again, and well I thought that we should go, you know," he replied to her with a shrug of his shoulders in a reluctant tone. "Not promising anything little bro," She said back as she raised her nose to the air, not in the mood for conversation anymore.
Ashley stopped at the front of the town hall with a curious look in her eyes. She stared at the aged man asking herself in her mind, 'How has he been able to survive so long?' Her attention then turned to the woman. Her hand went to where she kept her revolver feeling a bit of tension in the air. But she soon took it away as Thomas put a hand to her shoulder.
