Mistpetal flicked her tail gently, looking up at him again before averting her gaze. "So, when are y-you leaving to go find some catmint..?"

"Ah, I see. Well, I wish you luck with that. Besides, from what I've seen, you're pretty good." Stormsong flicked her tail; she wasn't one to give out compliments, so this was a new experience for her.

Her gaze landed on a white pelt emerging from a den and the blue tabby-and-white padded towards it, tail high.
"Ah, Frostpaw." She stopped once she reached her apprentice, purring in amusement at the cat's bitter attitude. "Still cold for you?" She fluffed out her fluffier-than-average pelt, grinning at the apprentice. "Maybe some training can help warm your muscles."

The silver apprentice glanced up at the sound of her mentor's voice. "Ｃottontail," she paused, her face twisting in disgust at her mentor's next words, "Still cold for you?"

"Yeah," Ｆrostpaw grumbled out. "It's really cold. I'm surprised my nose hasn't frozen and fallen off yet." she joked, before stifling a yawn that revealed some of her front, sharp, canines. All the younger she-cat wanted right now was to get her mind off this cold, cold weather, and she brightened considerably at Cottontail's suggestion. "I'll love that. Training, I mean." Frostpaw replied, her whiskers twitching slightly in excitement. "Should we ask other cats to join us?"

The Tom perked his ears up at his mentor's voice and nodded some, finishing up with his grooming section before searching for Tigerfoot and padding over to him silently. As he got close to the Tom a purr rumbled his chest and he actually hid himself on the snow for a second before leaping and pouncing on the older cat's tail. "Morning, Tigerfoot" he purred pawing at his tail for a second before rolling on the ground and sitting back up, shaking the cold snow off his purely white pelt. "So, you got recruited to go catch some catmint too, uh?"

Lightpaw nodded again, helping the warrior pull along the tom "Can you stand..?" She winced as he yowled. "M-maybe not..." Lightpaw trailed off. "M-maybe if you stand, we could act as.. Um.. Your injured leg." She suggested in a quiet tone, glancing nervously at her mentor. For some reason, she felt very relieved that he woke up. Maybe she was scared he'd... Go away, just like her mother. Swallowing, she shuffled her paws, not knowing how to make the situation any better.

"I guess Wolfheart accidentally got too close to the river!" Whistlesong seemed very concerned. "He's hurt, and probably has water in his lungs. We have to get him to my brother!"

Tigerfoot sat quietly, unsuspecting of the medicine cat that crawled behind behind him. Forcing himself not to jump as the smaller cat tackled his tail, he spun around, only to begin laughing. "Nice one! Good morning, Deadpaw," He purred, "You might be a medicine cat, but you still have the hunting material of a warrior," Tigerfoot praised, only pausing when the young cat spoke again. "Ahh, yep. Catmint hunting. Well.. plus, it's best if I go with both of you. If either of you got hurt, I'd be.. Well, I'd feel responsible." the deputy chuckled, though his gaze became serious for a moment. Deadpaw had always been such a great cat; so much potential. Tigerfoot had been disappointed himself when the smaller cat had become a medicine cat, due to decisions he wasn't allowed to make. If Deadpaw had become a normal apprentice, Tigerfoot would've been proud to have the cat as his apprentice.

Of course, the apprentice was smaller and more frail than most of the clan, but his intelligence was something else. Plus he was white furred, one of the best qualities for winter hunting. He remembered how disappointed Deadpaw had looked when he became a medicine cat, and he hoped he'd grown accustomed to it in the past moon.

Adderfur's lips barely pulled upwards, but he almost immediately returned to his scowl, turning away and swishing his tail. He'd never been complimented before, either. Well, maybe when he was younger, but that was before he and Tigerfoot grew apart. ".. Thanks, I guess." He looked a bit pleased with himself; maybe.. Maybe he was actually succeeding. "I would say this is my dream, but... It's not a dream, because I'm going to make it a reality." He said suddenly, his tone stubborn.

The tom purred once more at the praise. "Well, a medicine cat that can fight is useful." Though he knew he wasn't a cat for fights. Just as he liked to think, his fights took place on a much calmer space and his enemies were invisible and far more dangerous then rogue cats, foxes and such. "Well, unless you count freezing your paws as part of getting hurt then we shouldn't really worry about anything." At least that is what he hoped. He gave his paw a couple licks and drew it over his ear. He silently watched the camp life go on and softly sighed. "Do you think newleaf will be long as leaf are was?"

Tigerfoot smiled, nodding in agreement. Laughing about his comment on freezing paws, he rolled his shoulders and gave his own cold paw a few licks. "Yeah, we're lucky we haven't seen any badgers for awhile." He meowed, wrapping his thick tail neatly over his strong forelimbs. Tigerfoot's expression became more serious as Deadpaw brought up the topic of Newleaf. "Well.. I'm not sure. The seasons have been off lately. All we can do is hope things will go back to normal." Or else they'd have to move to a new territory. There wouldn't be enough prey, there would be too many sick cats, and the clan would die off quicker than they could heal. He hoped things wouldn't come to that. But if Starclan kept ignoring them, they'd have no choice but to move on.

Cottontail glanced around camp, tilting her head to the side.
"if you think there's anyone else that'd like to go, of course they can come. What sort of training would you like to practice?" She sat down and rasped her tongue over her paw, bringing it across her face.

(@ IHUA, the Warriors do most of the work around camp by going on hunting patrols, border patrols, and battling. They also train apprentices to become Warriors, and do most of the work population wise. For roleplaying animals, you can picture them to be human. Pretty much all you can't do is say they walk on two legs and carry this with their paws.)
