The heat felt great to him, but at the same time it was super powerful, along with his black pelt, he would burn. In search of shade, the male padded under a tree and sprawled on his back, as the shade wrapped around his stomach.

Nobody noticed her during mating season, and although it was a little disappointing, she didn't throw herself at males like some females tended to do. If she was going to find a mate, it would happen. she wasn't going to rush anything. She watched as all of the wolves dispersed, mumbling uncomfortably. She stood and walked over to a dead tree and settled underneath the branches, cleaning her paws. She didn't know what else to do. She wasn't needed obviously. She put her head on her paws, and slowly closed her eyes.
