Adder barrack ~ Toothaches
Alder Bark ~ Toothaches
Alfalfa ~ Chewed, then swallowed to help tooth decay
Aloe Vera ~ Leaves are chewed and spit on burns, or skin problems
Blessed Thistle ~ Increases circulation of blood
Borage Leaves ~ Lessens fever and increases milk flow in nursing queens.
Broken Rosemary Blossoms~ Used to heal eye infection or to cover up wounds around the eyes or eyelids.
Broom Poultices ~ Helps broken legs and other serious wounds
Broom Malice Poultices ~ heals open wounds
Burdock Root ~ Helps stop infection, especially from rat bites. Apply chewed burdock root to wound(s).
Catnip (also Catmint) ~ Helps stop greencough, also used to treat whitecough and can help to relax a cat
Celandine~ You rub it on aching eye, and it the aching will go away. Soothes blind eyes
Chamomile ~ Helps with depression, fatigue, and soothes heart, used to calm a cat.
Chaparral ~ helps clean faces. Good for when cats get feline achne
(Feline achne occurs when a cats' face is dirty for long periods of time. Bumps appear, and are red and sore. Bumps will appear all over muzzle and cheeks, sometimes spreading across nose.)
Chervil~ Leaves and roots good for infections and bellyache.
Chewed Gumweed~ Used to help seal wounds from infection. It will slightly sting, and helps to collect the skin together and close quicker.
Chickweed~ cures some of green and black cough
Cobwebs ~ Helps cover a wound from infection or from bleeding. Gather cobwebs in a swath and apply to bleeding wound. Replace if required. Keep until wound has stopped bleeding
Coltsfoot ~ an herb that eases coughing and helps with breathing troubles. Also used for kittencough.
Comfrey - used to treat broken bones
Comfrey Roots~ Chew and rub on wounds and it deep cleans them
Crushed Iris Petals~ Used to stimulate breathing during the birthing process. This can also be used for kit's sore throats
Crushed Marigold Petals~ Used to protect against infection of serious wounds, avoid around eyes, for it can be irritating.
Crushed Pawpaw Roots~ Used for kitten cough, which threatens only kittens.
Crushed Rose Thorns ~ Helps seal the wound
Culver's Root~ Used for when a cat swims in cold weather and gets chest pains or a cold. Use with Feverfew.
Lavender Stem~ Used to calm a cat in shock
Marigold~ soothes infections and heals wounds and sores
Marigold leaves ~ Dresses wounds
Mouse Bile ~ Helps rid of fleas and ticks; placed in moss. Press bile-soaked moss with paws against areas of the fur where ticks are. Wash your paws in a stream afterwards, and never get any in your mouth.
Milkweed Juice~ Used for sores or burns. Do not use around eyes or ears. Poisonous if ingested.
Narcissus Flower Petals~ used when a she-cat has contractions. Helps soothe their minds
Nettles ~ Leaves used for swelling, seeds used to counter poison.
Nightshade ~ POISONOUS. Is only used to kill dogs or other large predators (by hiding it in fresh-kill and leaving it out for the creature to find.)
Peathingy Flower Petals~ Used to help a kit with kitten cough. Will help to clear clogged throats and nasal passages
Poppy Seeds ~ Helps lessen pain and helps a cat sleep. Get cat whose suffering the pain to eat 1 or 2 seeds depending on the intensity of the pain. Remember not to totally deaden the pain, as the amount of pain can help tell you the condition of the cat.
Ragwort ~ Good for strength, use with lamb's ear
Rosinweed~ Used to clean out the system when poisons have been digested. (Will happen during "relieving yourself".
Sacred bark ~ used for upset stomach
Sage Roots~ Used for cracked pads, especially on elder cats. Use with Poppy seeds
Shock Roots~ uses to stimulate the nerves system. Use after a cat has been knocked out, poisoned, or head trauma.
Thyme~ Good for calming anxieties
