It's the year 2030. Although the technology has advance somewhat from 2014, the world you live in is very similar to the one you already know. Well, "live in" is a loose term. On December 31st, New Years Eve, 2029, you rose from the dead in New York. No one remembers you, no matter how fresh your corpse or how famous your name, and you were not the only one. You now have to deduce what brought you back, as well as defeat the demon hordes this unnatural event has brought forth. You have your own defenses for this purpose. When you were brought back to life, you received supernatural powers that are connected to your death. Find the other living dead, and use your newfound strength to unravel the mysteries of your new life. This is the Land of the Dead!

A few things have been ingrained in your mind since you woke up from your grave. You know deep in you mind not to tell a living person what happened. You also are aware of your situation: that you're a dead man walking.

Not only this, but it appears that no matter where you were born or what language you speak everyone seems understands you and you understand everyone as if they spoke your native tongue.

Your characters can be from any point in time, and could have died any way, but make sure your power is reasonable (i.e. no nuclear bomb victims with radiation powers).

This also takes place in our universe, so no "I git kill by dregon," just so you can have dragon powers.

You are brought back to life the age you were right before you died, but your body is in peak condition for that age (i.e. all burn marks or broken bones etc. are removed when you're reborn).

There can be no one who died of old age, for the above reason.

I don't really mind drama in character, but please no arguments Out of Character.

PG-13 guys. That goes for romance and fighting. No bloods baths, and follow the forum's rules.

Let us know if you're going to be gone for more than a day or so, I don't mind it. It just keeps people from being stuck. Do this in the OOC chat.

Feel free to shoot any of your ideas at me at any time. I don't mind at all.

Personality: Ezekial is a bit of a loner. He keeps to himself and doesn't go out of his way to find other living dead, in fact trying to avoid them. He wants to find out for himself why he's there, and he doesn't trust most. He's become very wary of people due to the causes of his death, and he values the human life very little, viewing those who die as 'unlucky,' just as he was viewed by the people of his community after his death. He resents his brother, and hopes that he was either reborn or is still alive, only so that he can have the pleasure of enacting his revenge.

History: Born in Mexico, his father was a sailor from Australia. The boy himself was the product of a short affair between that man and Zeke's mother, a woman who was born in Mexico. After being raised by his single mom and attending school with his twin brother, he lived a peaceful life at home, trying to find a place to live or a job while remaining in the house he was raised in. One day several men burst into the family's home. They were part of a gang war in Mexico, and Ezekial was mistaken for his brother. This particular gang wanted the other boy dead, and killed Zeke on sight. When he woke up in New York, he knew what was happening just like all the other living dead. He stole two pistols and set off on his own.

Name: Jin 'Jett' Hiroshu

Gender: Male
Personality: Jett could be seen as sly and vicious at first, seeing as he smirks whenever something goes his way, and he's amused by the misfortunes of others, but that doesn't exactly mean he's evil. He's a daredevil, and risks are something he takes daily, so he's up to experimenting with his new...'powers', even if he goes through immense pain. He loves living on the high-roads, and could come off as an adrenaline junkie sometimes, even though he's not -loud- and -obnoxious-. Not afraid to speak up, and can be rude since he speaks his mind, which also goes hand-in-hand with his sarcasm. He tends to think on the brighter side, since being depressed and emo-ey cramps his style, and he can even be seen as psychotic due to him not caring if he injures or kill others - more specifically demons and hostiles.

History: Jett's history is filled with quite a bit of -fame-, if you can call it that. Born in a low-class family of Japan, Jett was quickly taken to the art of skateboarding and gang violence after his mother was killed by a mugger, and his father began drinking. His skills in skateboarding began being recorded on the popular media site 'iTube', and he was sponsored by Cavern Dew at the age of ten to be their model for speed, strength, and skateboarding. Fast forward several years, and Jett was Japan's biggest daredevil, doing flips off of mountain tops, snowboarding down avalanches, skydiving into active volcanoes...it was a life. During one of his biggest stunts ever, Jett skydived from the icy point in the sky, landed on his skateboard, which was magnetized to an airplane, and ollied onto another airplane that was lower in the sky. It was storming and raining that day, and as soon as he ollied onto the next plane, laughing and grinning, he was struck by a bolt of powerful lightning, both him and the aircraft vaporized...
Death Date and Cause of Death: 4/15/2018, and he was...struck by millions of volts of lightning and electricity.
Power: Similar to his death, Jett has absolute control over the destructive, powerful force of lightning and electricity...and everything that it involves. Yeah, he's going to be having a lot of fun with this.

name. Danek Izak Bulat.
age & birthdate. Danek was eighteens years old when he died, and was born on May 6th, 1926. He had only recently passed his eighteen birthday when he died.
gender. Male of course, this much is obvious.

appearance. Danek is one of the select few with a sturdier build. Evident from his broad shoulders, and muscled torso, it was probably a good thing that one was restored to their physical prime when they were brought back. Otherwise, well, let's just say he wouldn't look so good. With light-coloured hair and golden eyes, he is a close fit to what the Germans once referred to as 'Aryan', however, because of his sexuality, it simply didn't cut it. As stated, Danek has peculiar-coloured irises, which seem to sparkle with an unnatural, soft glow. However, since these are mostly hidden behind translucent shades, this feature of his isn't entirely noticeable at first. Once might note him to be as tall as the average male, a regular-joe averaged at about 5'9, otherwise known as 69 inches. With his fuller build, this man weighs in at a weight around 150 pounds.
personality. Stoic and somber, Danek uses his head to sort out situations, rather than his heart. He holds the believe within him that every problem can be figured out logically, if the seeker truly wants the answer. An inquisitive individual, the Pole thrives on the constant intake of knowledge and data, which can optimistically effect him later. While it's never confirmed, he is believed to have a photographic memory. When there is not one, he likes to be the voice of reason among the crowd. But no human is without flaws, of course. Danek is an incredibly overconfident individual, which can easily be twisted to the advantage of other. Danek holds the belief that he's normally right in his decisions, and it is incredibly hard to convince him otherwise.
history. Born in Poland, into a family who often loudly voiced their opinion when it came to the government, Danek lived a rather happy couple of years. However, happiness never last, as shown when the world erupted to war in 1939. Fearing for his families lives, Danek's father pressured them into hiding, to get them away from the patrolling soldiers. Unfortunately, they were caught three years later, and brought to the nearest camp. There, Danek was separated from his mother and two younger sisters, as he was nudged towards the men's quarter's with his youngest brother and father. From there, Danek managed to survive a meager two years in the death camp before being put to death in June of 1944.

death date & cause of death. Jun 7th, 1944. Danek had been unluckily herded into the working chambers, and was shortly gassed to death. The last thing he remembers before darkness was clutching his brother's hand.
power. Because of the manner he died in, Danek can now emit a thick smog from his body whenever he chooses. Depending on his state of emotion, the gas he emits can have a varying from effects. For example, if cover is needed, and the man is calm enough, the gas he creates can be incredibly thick, with a fog-like consistency, thus providing cover. However, the smog he creates can be used as a inhaled sedation, even to the extent with it will become poisonous. Lastly, Danek can also merge with the gas, break apart the molecules of himself and others, using it as a form of quick transportation. To sum it up, Danek can emit, become, and manipulate varying forms of gases, each with a variety of effects.

other. Since coming back alive, Danek has took his time to familiarize himself with this new world. While he was a vicious fighter before, he has enrolled himself to classes to further enhance his fighting ability. He tends to fight cheaply, and dirty, however, which was the way he learned to survive in the camp. Do not underestimate him, as it isn't an outrageous chance Danek will stab you if it's a fist-fight.

Since being revived, Danek has discovered that he is now fluent in English, where he was not before. Besides English, the man speaks Polish and German. His voice is tinged with a noticeable accent, as he does nothing to hide it.

Danek gets incredibly nervous around modes of transportation, and will visibly pale at the mere thought. Because of this, he doesn't travel by car unless forces too; preferring his gaseous form to transverse than physical.

Personality=At first glance, Noah would appear to be an artsy type: He finds solitude behind the lenses of his vintage film camera or within the comfort of a good book. His soft voice and inclination towards keeping to himself gives the impression of being a quiet and gentle soul...for the most part, you'd be incorrect to think so. Noah, when pushed, is one to make quick and painfully stabbing remarks and sarcastic quips that can give a royal slap to one's soul. Stubborn as a mule and with a temper that flares quicker than gasoline struck with a lit match, he isn't the greatest in social situations. Not afraid to push buttons, he is quick to the draw with his jokes and will point out all of your flaws. Despite his grumpy and hard-to-get-along-with label, Noah is someone who deeply cares for the people in his life, and it's even possible that his pushy and judgmental attitude is a reflection of his desire to change into a better person. He is a very determined young man with an investigate spirit and a willingness to do anything to reach his goals.

History=(most of his history will be explained later, I.E I'm tired, gimme a break) Noah for the most part lived as average a contemporary life can be. He trudged through grade-school with okay grades, but more importantly he developed his love for photography and art after receiving a film camera for his twelfth birthday. In high-school, Noah reached the conclusion that he would aspire to be a photojournalist (as well as the possibility of becoming a writer on the side). Growing up in Ohio, Noah was accepted into Akron University where he majored in journalism with a minor in psychology. Noah developed his skills with the camera formidably throughout the first two years of his college career, and he joined the Newspaper club as both a writer and photographer in order to add onto his credentials and further develop. He had a fairly decent first few semesters until...

October 19th, 2019

Investigating the growing sightings of timber wolves in the Akron area, Noah decided to brave into the woods in order snap a few shots of the wolves for the newspaper and some unique additions to his portfolio. Climbing onto a tree branch for a vantage point, Noah managed to snap a few shots of a pack of wolves, until the branch he was balancing on creaked and snapped from underneath him...the rest was detailed in the newspapers.

Noah Grayson, Junior student at Akron University, was mauled to death by a pack of wolves. He was Twenty years old.

Power= Noah has retained the enhanced senses of timber wolves, as well as their ferocious determination in the heat of the moment. While he isn't physically stronger, Noah is able to withstand a significant amount of pain before succumbing to a wound, which means his newfound aggressiveness can lead to him holding his own in a hand-to-hand battle. However, he is in fact still only capable of being a human with average strength, so in battle he may lean towards using a weapon, and instead the bulk of his powers lies in his enhanced senses.

Appearance: rachelle has a short, dark black hair, which she cut right before falling in the sea. her eyes are simply bright blue, with a bit of green. the colour of her eyes might be described as sea-green. rachel stands at 5'4' and weights only 97 punds. she has a heart form face and tanned skin tone. the long black lashes stands all around her eyes. if you look at her face, you will see the pointy lips she has and a small noise, and the perfect eyebrows.

age when her soul left the body fifteen years, a thirteen minutes away from turning sixteen. however now she is about three hundred sixty-five years old.

Personality: rachelle is not a talkative type, thus she is not either unsocial, she just rather enjoys spending her free time alone than sitting all the day long in house. she however always seems very friendly - especially towards people she know and respects and people who needs help in their lives. she will care for them until the last moment of her life. rach is known of being very smart, wise and intelligent also brave, as she will try everything to help the others. she usually puts other people needs in front of hers, until it gets in her free time of exploring the forest. her past, however brings her to feel very insecure and sad all the time, which she greatly tries to hide. but it is not simply that possible, because once she is alone, she rarely can hold the tears.

History: rachelle wasn't a princess or anything, but just a girl born to a noble family in old sweeden. her family weren't much to be either, as they unlikely became parent for her. the first few years of her life wasn't that bad, though, her family funded everything for her to have a normal life. but just later it became a disaster. see, girl grew up in beauty and grace and she was wanted by so many mens, but she was already in love. but she soon find out that she was arranged to another man. usually you would believe that this was a fairytale and rach will be saved by her "prince", however her story didn't have the usual happy endings. at the ending she died.

Death: rachel died by drowning herself in the sea thirteen minutes before her sixteens. but it is said that she was so heartbroken that she didn't even felt it. see, the girl was in love with one man named Mitchell, while arranged with another Felix and her sixteen birthday was the day she was supposed to marry. but rach was not to accept the fate to live with a man, she didn't even knew of. so felix, who knew about her romance, jealous of the gardener, ordered his mans to kill him instantly. so it happened. when the young lady got to know about it she ran away, but her parents found her and imprisoned her in her own room. it was then, when rachelle decided that it was better to die and remain faithful to her true love, than marry the killer of him. so she jumped out of the window straight into the waves of sea. the next day, when the maidens came to get her ready for weddings, they found simple note left next to her bed: "i'll better die, thus live with all of you." and this was the death of the lady Rachelle Clara Eden the II
Power: because of the way she died, Rachelle can now manipulate, became, breath the water... and so everything what involves the water, though, she might not now just be as strong to manipulate the human body, using the water in humans, the same goes with few other things. however she had already tought of how to manipulate ice and snow by concentrating on the water molecules inside it.
Other: there is nothing more the so sad girl reveals about her past...

Name:Junko Enoshima
Age and Actual Birthdate:20, born in 1972, December 20th.
Gender:Female
Personality:A young fashionista who took the country by storm with her extravagant tastes. Junko had wanted to be a model ever since she was a child, but was also eager to try new things. Junko's personality and mannerisms tended to be extremely erratic and unstable by her own autonomous design; she states that keeping up one "appearance" for too long bores her. Junko often switched between "moods," which included (but was not limited to)four other manners of speech which included complexes of cuteness, severe depression, sophistication, and superiority; she switched between "moods" regularly, often imitating other students' expressions, which made for highly unsettling conversation. She is also shown to be intelligent, cunning, somewhat impulsive, and very manipulative as shown by her being able to manipulate an unknown number of people into Ultimate Despair.

Above all, however, Junko was deeply obsessed with despair, having found despair to be one of the most enjoyable emotions for her, whether it be the inflicting of despair unto others, or suffering from despair wholeheartedly.
History:Junko lived with her older twin sister Mukuro, For quite some time they lived in a frugal home. At age fourteen she became a model and gained enough money for her family, which unfortunately she got alot of unwanted attention as a model. She was followed, and couldn't go home. After Mukuro's death it didn't seem to hit Junko that hard, to be perfectly honest, she didn't seem to care, but deep inside she was breaking. And never quite got over it. Which felt great to her, Junko was always a bit messed up in the head.
Death Date and Cause of Death:On 5/7/92 Junko was killed in an unfortunate fire in her modeling building. Something happened, no one really knows the cause, but she died due to something falling on her, let alone she broke a rib cadge she couldn't breath.
Power:Due to the fire she has the ability to control fire..and create it.

Name:Mukuro Ikusaba
Age and Actual Birthdate:Eighteen, born December 20th 1972.
Gender:Female
Personality:Despite being an incredible soldier, Mukuro is very out-of-touch with her own emotions and only knows how to take orders from Junko. She craves her sister's praise and acceptance and will do nearly anything to get it. Because of this, Mukuro allows herself to be constantly put down by Junko and takes her insults to heart.

She admits that she lacks skill in negotiating with others and planning tactics in advance, despite her renown as an excellent soldier.

History: Mukuro grew up with her younger sister, Junko. In very bad conditions. A poor family taught to use their money right. Mukuro couldn't help but to be jealous of her sister when she was accepted into the modeling career, but she was also genuinely happy for her sister. After Junko got her career in line, her family was able to afford a nicer home. Mukuro enrolled in the army when she was old enough. One day though while she was off her guard, she was stabbed.
Death Date and Cause of Death:On 9/6/90 Mukuro received Multiple stab wounds.
Power:Mukuro has the ability to make knives appear out of thin air, and has the ability to sharpen any part of her body she pleases. I;e someone aimed their sword at her, she'd sharpen her arm and it'd shield the blow.
