Shyshadow earned his name for being the hesitant and shy cat he is. He has always been intelligent and quick, but very soft and timid. However, he likes to just look at the good in cats.

Born in the clan, Shyshadow was originally a warrior apprentice until his softness was shown, as he refused to fight anycat. He was taken in as the Medicine cat apprentice, instead. His mentor passed soon after Shyshadow earned his full name.

Lilylights was born a rogue in France. Her parents, Feather and Rippleyowl, were forbidden lovers, and she was the exact mix of the two. A pretty silver tabby with blue eyes and grey markings. One day, a large man with a net came out into the forest. He stomped all over the territories, and Lily was hidden from him. Feather was killed trying to attack him, and Rippleyowl grabbed Lily and ran. The man chased after, trying to grab at Lily and Rippleyowl. Eventually, they found a large tent. Rippleyowl hid her there, and the man eventually caught him as well. Lily was still young, when she found out that she was now forced to be a circus cat. She was also mute, which the circus staff liked because she'd never fuss about anything. She was forced to become a gypsy cat, with piercings in her left ear, right ear, and she wasn't supposed to grow, so they fed her pills to make her the size of an Apprentice. One day, the French circus flew to another country. Lily escaped, and found herself in some new forest. She was confused and scared until a Warrior found her. Many of the other Apprentices made fun of Lilypaw for being mute, until she got her Warrior name. No one knew the father of her kits, but she did. A horrid Brazilian tabby who hated everyone except himself. She was bred with him, to have his kits, and she was scared.
