Ross snorted, raising a brow. "I would hope that if my wings were made razors then you wouldn't be touching them to begin with." He glanced up at his bangs, glaring at them as if it were their fault they'd fallen into his eyes. Blowing in them irritatedly, he gave a small smirk of satisfaction when they went back a bit and left his now relieved eyes free. "And if you're that tired then you should sleep. It's common sense."

'' i'm a little crazy; so i might have.'' the boy watched him without moving for a second before shaking his head. '' i don't want to go home, so i'm not going to sleep. i'll just be a total loser until i pass out.'' he nodded then continued to touch the wings after a lengthy pause. he was that tired that his entire thought process would shut down for a second before starting up again.

Ross rolled his eyes, watching the boy pause and space out for a moment before continuing to touch his wings. He was obviously exhausted but being too stubborn to do a thing about it. He sighed, realizing he should probably do something. Pulling away from the boy to get his attention, he said, "Alright, you're exhausted and need sleep. I'm taking you home now and you have no choice so go."

-- skye blinked a few times, watching Ross before speaking. '' what if i don't move? '' he spoke in a defiant voice, though he was only half joking. '' you can't make me.'' he walked over to the guitar case and held it carefully. he really just wanted to not have to go home and forever be away from his new cutie friend.

Ross sighed, rolling his eyes again. This human was beyond stubborn. Seriously, didn't he know the importance of sleep? Besides, if he just collapsed here on the street of exhaustion then what exactly would that accomplish? "How could I convince you to go home and sleep?" He asked, folding his arms across his chest again and chewing at the inside of his cheek in slight irritation.

-- " if you could garuntee i wouldn't be alone. which, you cant garuntee. so awake i will stay.'' the small boy gave a yawn though he covered it with the back of his hand. the blue haired boy simply looked up at Ross before shaking his head. '' i don't like sleeping, it's a waste of time i could be doing something else.''

Ross snorted. How much could you do with that extra time if you were dead on your feet. Sighing, he said, "Fine then, I'll go with you. If I'm there then you're not alone and you can go to sleep, right?" This was seriously a stubborn human. He'd never had such a hard time trying to convince someone of something. No, scratch that. He'd once tried to get Xavier to fly through the woods at night. Now that was what he called hard. He actually had to knock him out and carry him through, and he was beginning to think that he might have to do the same to Skye as well.

He lifted the cigarette to his lips, and took another puff as he pointed to a duffle bag sitting at his feet next to a pile of flattened cardboard boxes. He exhaled once more before dropping the cigarette butte and stepped on it with his left foot. "I live here," he said curtly. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and shrugged his shoulders. "It's more comfortable out here. Peaceful."

I looked past him, out of the alley. Peaceful? I thought, a bit confused. I had grown up away from the city- away from all the commotion. But even in an orphanage, the noise got to be a little too much sometimes. "Peaceful...I guess if you've lived here a long time the commotion becomes comforting."

Ross sighed in relief. "Good. Now then, let's go." At least he'd finally found a way to get this human to sleep. It was completely idiotic of him to think depriving himself of rest would be a good idea. "I don't know where you live, so you still have lead the way."
