Stonekit bounded over to Ghoststar with a look of curiosity on her face. "Who's that?" she asked, nodding at the small white kit that hung from the leader's mouth.

Lionblaze padded steadily into camp.

Graystipe bunched his haunches and leapt. He didn't go very high, just high enough. Then he dropped to the ground. "Try it."

"His name is Cloudkit," Ghoststar responded. "He's Fireheart's nephew."

Cloudpaw did as told.

Lionblaze looked at his mate, then kept walking.

Graybird turned her head to the sky, clearly wanting to see the skies that was a mysterious thing that StarClan lived.

Fireheart padded to the fresh-kill pile and picked out a random kill. He apparently grabbed a thin shrew. His green eyes looked around, eyes seeing Graybird.

"Nice!' Graystripe purred. "Higher."

Ghoststar sat down Cloudkit and caught his gaze. She silently mouthed 'I'll tell you later'.

"Silverstream!" Skypaw wove around her mentor's legs.

Copperwing emerged from the den, well rested. He spotted Graybird and smiled, trotting towards her. "How about that mouse you promised we'd share?"
