Ross was a little surprised for a moment to learn that he was gay, then thought about and realized that it actually wasn't all that surprising. Honestly, he probably should have guessed by all the cute and cuddly comments. "Yeah, I once had a boyfriend who broke up with me for not texting him back within an hour of his text. I didn't really care, though, because he was obviously clingy. I actually felt relieved," he admitted. "And I'm not sure being cute is all that really matters, but you know, it's a bonus," he added, adding a slight hint of playfulness to his tone to show he was just joking.

-- '' ew. clingy boys. gross'' he said as he scrunched up his nose and laughed. '' i think that boys are the worst for dating. it's hard to find ones that'll deal with a screwball like me, but i'm pretty much dating my career so i don't really care anymore.'' he shrugged and moved to the next wing. '' life as a human is fantastic as long as i have enough money for food and music.''

Ross nodded, moving a bit to give him better access to the other wing. "Sounds like a good deal to me," he said with a shrug. Food and music was about all he would've needed as a human. Being a rich kid, of course he'd had more than that, but all he really did was listen to music and occasionally eat anyways. "I take it you're a musician?" He asked, the answer was fairly obvious, but he figured he'd ask anyways.

-- " yeah. i dropped out of highschool so i don't have much of a choice anymore.'' he shrugged and began working through the other feathers. he actually found one with a little bit of white on it. '' this feather is different.'' he remarked, running a finger over it before continuing on his mission of untangling all the feathers. '' it's all i want though.'' he said going back on track.

Ross shrugged. "Hey, if it's what you want then who cares. Besides, techinically I didn't graduate either, so..." he watched as Skye sorted through the feathers, looking at the one he'd pointed out as being different. Hm, he'd never noticed that before. This human was pretty observant.

-- '' well you have a better reason than i do.'' he nodded as it to confirm it to himself. '' why are you so soft? like seriously this is incredible'' he said with a laugh; then simply running his full hand down the feathers. '' it feels awesome.''

Ruka chuckled. "They'll be back. Only with more people." She said eyes twinkling. She motioned to the wings. "Those are...Interesting." Ruka commented,eyeing them. She cleared her throat lightly as she looked away,suddenly uncomfortable. She took her phone out and checked the time,her stomach reminding her she had only a price of pizza earlier. "You hungry? I can grab Chinese takeout." She suggested lightly.

Ross chuckled a bit, watching him in amusement. "You're quite easily entertained, aren't you?" He gently poked one of his wings, feeling the feathers brush lightly against his fingertip. "I guess angel feathers are pretty soft. Not sure why, but I'm not complaint. It'd suck to have razor blades or something coming out of my back instead."

(You caught a chicken before? My grandparents have chickens (well, they had chickens...) and I was always to afraid to touch them. Although I'd hold straw and let them peck it from my fingers.)

'' i am. that and i'm so tired i could be entertained by a piece of string, or could be arrested for impaired driving.'' he kept stroking the wing, obviously finding some enjoyment in it. '' god i wish i had a blanket this soft. '' he said with a laugh, and gave a true, lopsided and boyish smile. though he was already pale enough, the darkness of the angel's wings made the pallor of skye's fingers even more pronounced. '' it's good that you don't have any razorblades in here, my hands would be chopped liver if there were.''
