Suddenly her fur stood on end. Was that a chain? She thought looking around sure enough the clanking continued. They had found the cats. There barks sent shivers through her body she stood their shaking watching the large dogs try to get to her there scratching almost knocked her over but she held tight, hissing and spitting.

Oaktail heard the noise too "SANDCLAW GET DOWN!" He yowled running closer to the fence

She dove off tumbling to the ground, dirt smeared her pelt and one of her claws where wrenched she slowly got up, her left fore-leg was in pain, she clenched her teeth together in the effort to stand on it but couldn't

Oaktail hurried over to her side "Are you ok??" He asked quickly, he put his shoulder close so she could lean on it

She leaned against him relief flooding her body. She let out a sigh claws still firmly planted in the ground.

"Can you walk?" Oaktail asked scaredly

She shook her head teeth still to clamped together to talk.

Oaktail looked up "SMokepaw go get Flamepelt quickly!" he told the apprentice, he laid Sandclaw down so she didn't need to stand
