Pauses, giving him a light smile. "Alright, sounds like a plan." There was a matter of who else was joining, but usually that was up to whomever was leading the patrol. There seemed to be plenty of cats around to pick from, hopefully he could learn more about them.

Firestar padded towards Icewhisker and Nightsky. The tom glanced back at the older warrior. He had been in the Clan much longer than most of the other cats; one of the most senior warriors. He'd make a good deputy,too, should anything happen to Adderstrike,he thought.

Adderstrike waved his tail. "Doeeyes, Echowing, let's go."

He sighs a bit in disappointment on how foolish he'd made himself appear. It must be a lack of water or something along those line, maybe he hadn't been sleeping as well as he thought. He makes a mental note of the cats, a young tom and she-cat, making him the oldest tom on this hunt. It was a bit funny to think of just how old he felt around them.

She watched, a bit jealous of Adderstrike's freedom to patrol with who he pleased whenever he deemed worthy. Still, the tom hunted with two young she-cats which made her giggle inside. Her eyes wander back to the fish at the Elder's den for a moment longer before standing and looking for something else to do.

While looking around he notices Splashfrost off on her own. Her grey fur seemed flawless enough, hiding most traces off mess or dirt much better than any light pelts. He'd eyed his own questionably, not sure if he was overdue for a bath yet.

Echowing hopped to her paws, and padded to Adderstrike.

Nightsky dipped her head at Firestar. "Would you like us to go hunting, or did you have a different plan?" Nightsky Sat up at attention.

Firestar smiled. "You and Icewhisker will come on my hunting patrol."

Adderstrike lead his patrol out of camp.

Splashfrost felt eyes piercing her pelt. She looked up to seeThistleheart. She gave a smirk before cleaning her tail.

Doeeyes bounded behind him. "Don't you think we should add another cat?"

Nightsky smiled back, stretching quickly and standing up. "I'm ready to go. Get up lazy paws." Nightsky purred jokingly, nudging Icewhisker with her nose.

Echowing nodded, her light brown tabby pelt shining in the sunlight. "This patrol does seem a bit small, but that's okay. But if you'd like we're not too far away from camp that we can go fetch another warrior quick."

He patiently eyes Nightsky and Icewhisker, wondering if he could learn to be so naturally friendly. Firestar obviously made him nervous, afraid of failure but around his fellow warriors he felt little to nothing towards them in way of affection. Warriors were his peers, the cats he slept next to at night and rose with in the morning. It was like an adoptive family despite the fact they didn't all speak to each other...

Taken a bit by surprise at her look, his ears drop against his head shyly. His paws felt the ground as if debating movement before taking slow steps towards her. The closer he got, the more clearly her eyes bright yellow eyes highlighted her softer colored face. "You seem a tad busy, but I couldn't help but ask how you are doing on this fine day." He meows.
