The cat stared at the tom, unblinking. She gave a cattish grin, unsheathed claws toying with the kittypet's fur. "A chewtoy? I don't know about you, but I prefrer my "chewtoys" when they aren't moving." Scarletfire gave a snicker, tail curling as she shoved Mia over roughly. She didn't look back up at Solsticetalon. She bent down and hissed into the kittypet's ear. "You should've never come into the forest, Twoleg pet."

Solsticetalon smirked at the remark and watched as Scarletfire toyed with Mia.

Stripedpaw heard the panicked cry and raced out after Wolfpaw, slightly stumbling. Her eyes widened when she saw the blood soaked tom. How strange...so much blood, yet there did not seem to be a significant wound aside from the gash on the back of his left leg. But a wound like that could not have bled so much...was the tom infected?
"Bristlepelt, step back." The little she-cat directed, looking determinedly at the deputy. She stepped forward and crouched by the tabby's flank, nosing his fur. The blood had dried, but it did not seem to belong to Sparrowcatcher. Another cat? That just made her more anxious. If the tom was infected, there was nothing they could do. He was a full-grown cat; it would be dangerous for everyone if he ended up turning. She could see no mark apart from the gash on his back leg. At this point, the fur was so matted with blood she could not tell if there were any teeth marks. There may still be a chance he was not bitten.

Mia let out a startled gasp, recoiling with a shocked yelp from the cat. She lashed out with her paws in an attempt to batter the cat away, though she was on her back from the cat's shove.
"Who are you?" She hissed, whirling back over to her paws and stumbling away back towards Solsticetalon. "I wasn't trying to hurt you--you didn't have to bite me!" Blue eyes narrowing, the former kittypet sat down and licked her ruffled chest fur flat. She was so bewildered and startled, she could not think of anything else to do.

Frantically, Bristlepelt hurried away to retreive the herbs that Wolfpaw mentioned. He quickly snagged them after a second of hesitation. He stumbled back to where the two medicine cats were with Sparrowcatcher. "He has to be alive! He is alive, right?" He yelped. Panic spiked through his body at the thought of him being dead.

Solsticetalon snickered as Mia glared towards Scarletfire.

Wolfpaw growled angrily at the other tom. "Shut up for a moment please , I'm trying to think!" The word please was hissed, as he let out a breath. "Stripedpaw, do you think he's infected?" His tone was softened a bit for the she-cat but it was still tense as he started to stave off the most major bleeding with the cobwebs.

Caster has been near the boarders to the clan again, wondering why these cats where so hostile. Some sounds of fighting cats caught his ears making him snap to attention and listen a moment. With a grunt of disgust he moved forward, towards the sound.

[Kydashing]

Oakfang sat down, staring off to watch for anything. He was the first night watcher. His golden eyes glowed in the night's darkness in the alley. He didn't want to speak to anyone, Oakfang was unhappy with not being able to help his fellow clanmate, Sparrowflight. He took a light sigh, his thoughts off on how his niece was doing.

Foxpaw's ears swiveled as she heard the shrieks of known cats. Her gaze went on, taking paces forward. She then heard, in the distance, a unfamiliar cat voices aways. Where do i go? Unknown cats crying, or known cat's shrieks? Her ears went back. Either way im not allowed to do much...but... (open)
