"They want me back." I say and nearly started crying.

"The army." I say sighing. "They're gonna need me for an up-coming war if I'm not lucky."

"Buddy, you ain't in the army and they ain't letting you in. This isn't any Hunger games thing where you can volunteer you're in it to win it and no one can take your place. Epically if your Captain!"
