Birchsong sighed. "I'm fine, just bored. Any news lately? I haven't been in camp for a while." The pure white cat mewed, her jade eyes sparkling from her latest adventure.

"Nothing much lately." She sighed as well. "Your mate though has acted a little... Off." Acepaw mewed.

"A little off? Is he still sad about killing all those cats?" Birchsong mewed, her eyes now full of concern. With a small sigh, The shecat leant down and licked her chest fur, agitated slightly.

"I don't know. I see him walking our of camp at night." She lied. "Maybe seeing someone or hunting... Who knows." She shrugged.

Featherpaw sighed. ''Okay, stay in front of me, and we aren't going too far out.'' she whispered.

"H-he wouldn't converse with other clans, would he?" Her voice was nervous, her face a mask of confusion. Her tail twitched as she went into thought.


Greykit smiled for once, and dashed out the side of the camp.

She smirked, but hid it. "Why don't you find him?" She suggested. As she said this, Wolfspirit and his patrol came back. His eyes gleamed and soon saw Birchsong. "My love! You've returned! Where have you been? Tell me everything!" He exclaimed.

Featherpaw went by where greykit went. ''So, what do you need to talk about?'' she whispered.

The she cat looked towards the new arrivals, joy lining her face as she bounded over. "I've been out around the forest, just to see exactly how far it stretches. What about you?" She held back on her purr, only slightly cautious of where Wolfspirit had been.

Acepaw backed away a bit and padded to the fresh-kill pile to get something to eat
