I'm pretty sure he has some kind of interest in you.
Guys never go out of their way to hang out with a girl if she doesn't mean anything to them, so I'm pretty sure you're a bit above just being a friend, and I think you've got a chance right there. The fact that he hangs out with you and that you guys used to be together just shows that he still has some feelings about you.

So, this is coming from someone who has had a gazillion crushes and none have actually gone my way because I don't do anything about it! (I have anxiety disorder, which is my only excuse xD) But I say, GO FOR IT. Nothing is going to happen unless you make happen.

What's the worse that's going to come out of it? If they say that they don't like you that way, there's plenty more fish in the sea and there's no reason to give up, somethings just take time

Well you see me and k are friends I met him this year at school and he has a crush on my friend but she doesn't.like him back so what if he's just trying to get close to her through me and I want to ask him if he still likes her just so I can tell him that my friend doesn't like him and I want to see who he likes . Do you think I should I will see him tomorrow so Idk

Also when he's around me he always is close or standing next to me we only got to know each other really well through his friend z my friends crush only like three days ago but he seems like he likes me and his friends and z told me that he probably does but guys minds work differently if you like two people then pretty much guy's minds explode. and since then he has been really nice to me and Idk he's not Mormon either so that's a downer and he always stairs at me just when ever he sees me and k actually talks to me now he used to be really weird around me now that we know each other more..

One day he walked home with me and when we were going separate ways he said (fuzzy my fake name ) k said hey fuzzy..... he paused for like a minute and then said this day hi to your cats for me - it was really weird I don't know why he said it. I think he got scared because he wanted to say something important or something so he got nervous.

just ask him. you have nothing to loose. also, it is best if you tell him that your friend doesn't like him because it will give him time to get over her.
there is a slight chance you might be the tool that he uses to get closer to her but not many details imply to it. you guys seem to have it going nicely. i'm sure there was more that he wanted to say but most guys are shy so you should give him time. possibly try to be alone with him when you ask him that question, he might open up.
