The Mating games

Rayne was scraping moss off of a nearby tree when a twig cracking alerted her. She could pick up any scent and shrugged it off, but that was a mistake. She tilted her head as she worked, exposing the column of her throat in an offering of submission and that was all it took. She emitted a loud shriek as a male she had never seen or smelt before pounced on her. The look in his eyes suggested he must have some sort of sickness or disease because males shouldn't be this rough according to her. She struggled against him, but since males were naturally stronger and weighed more than her, he used that to his advantage. The only reason she didn't shift was for fear she would hurt herself for being crushed under his weight. She called out for help in a high pitched voice, but she didn't know if anyone would hear her.

Ronan tugged at the bow slung over his back hearing the muffled giggles of girls. He shifted to a human and leaned against a tree his eyelids half shut over his dark blue eyes. He heard the sound of the girls coming closer and huffed climbing up the tree he was leaning on. The bark dogged into his hands as he climbed waiting for the girls to pass. Ronan spotted a girl going in the opposite direction and his interest peaked. He leaped to another tree then dropped to the ground a smirk dancing on his face. He followed silently trailing behind her, the single braid in sight "don't you want a mate like all other girls?" He asked in his slightly deeper voice.

Scarlet turned around seeing a grey wolf running past. Thinking it was another werewolf she called it over, the wolf stared at her then started running towards her. She was expecting I to change into human form but instead it tackled her. Scarlet looked at the large wolf and tried to push it off. The wolf showed its large bloody teeth as it snapped around her. Scarlet started to scream at it then realized it wasn't a werewolf instead it was a real wolf trying to gain more prey. Scarlet started to growl and howl as it bit at her hands and arms as she tried to push it away.

I hear a voice behind me. Reacting quickly, I had an arrow loaded and pointed directly at the person behind me. It was a boy. I scowled, "No. I don't." I say in response to his question. But I didn't let my bow drop for one second. I narrowed my eyes at the newcomer. "Who are you and what do you want?" I asked in a rough tone. I didn't really mean to be rude or anything, but this is what I always did to people who'd sneak up on me and scare my half to death. It was just a habit I was always used to doing.

His eyes flew open, revealing two golden orbs. Colton's gaze came to rest upon another person, a female, who stood against another tree only paces away. He was surprised to find a she wolf out at this time of night, and especially talking to him.

Shakira blinked in surprise, the voice was close, closer than she first thought.
Looking down from her perch she was shocked to find a girl perhaps slightly younger than her, sitting right below the tree she was in, on a tree stump.
Shakira considered dismissing the other female, she was probably just talking to herself or something, but her curiosity got the better of her and before she knew it Shakira walked gracefully across the branch, eager to get a closer look when a grey flash darted across her vision, colliding into the girl below.
'Kira looked more closely at the attacker, and noticed that in fact it was another wolf, though not any ordinary werewolf. This one was a real wild predator.
As the beast opened its jaws to snap at the females face her instincts took over and she quickly shifted, before leaping down to the ground.

An ear-splitting cry caused a stir in the undergrowth surrounding him, and he watched as a bird took to flight, releasing an alarm call into the air.
What the- Another cry cut him off, ringing through the trees like a dozen bells chiming all at once. He even imagined the ground shaking.
Clearly someone was in danger, a female in fact. The odd thing was however the sound seemed to come from the other side of a copse of bushes, in the direction in which the stubborn female had disappeared. Curiosity getting the better of him Cor dumped his doe behind a tree, where no one would be able to find it and charged in the direction of the noise, shifting into wolf form mid-stride. He could come back and get his catch later.

Scarlet growled and gave a hard punch at the rabid wolf.
"That's it! No more Mr. Nice Guy!"
She got on her hands and feet and shifted into her wolf. Scarlet clawed, scratched, and bit at the other wolf like if we were both males fighting for the female. Her normal human voice could be heard as she roared and howled.

Shakira watched the female take full action, clawing and snarling at the wild wolf. It took her a moment to ask herself whether or not the other female could handle this by herself. Shaking her head she watched as the wild creature turned on the girl, baring its teeth. She knew that was her que and before the wolf could deal a killing blow her night black form shot past, barrelling into the attacker and wiping it off its paws. Kira was very strong, and quick on her paws. The wolf would have a tough challenge beating her.

Scarlet howled and growled at the tip of her lungs scaring the wolf away.
"Next time you won't come out alive!" she yelled at the wolf making it whimper but still growling as it left.
Scarlet turned back to human form and plopped on her back looking at the sky as she was breathing heavily. A sharp sting struck her head as she remembered the large bump on it.
"Ugh...."

Rayne cried out as fingers dug into her skin and knew it would bruise. She went limp under him and her gazed down upon her with a satisfied smirk that she would submit to him.Not likely...she thought. Just as he was about to grab her wrist, she took his wrist in her hand and used her weight to her leverage. She flipped him over and she scrambled away shifting into her wolf form which was more agile. The male also turned and the two were circling each other, snapping and growling. A surprisingly sharp bite caught her shoulder and she yelped in surprise before biting his muzzle and yanking him off, causing some of her fur to rip out.
