Pebblepaw huffed as she finished. She sat down, clearing her gray and white pelt of old moss.

Clifftail made his way over to his apprentice. "Pebblepaw, you up for some training?" He asked, his broad muscles rippling as he took a seat beside her.

Blitzpaw gave a little bounce. "Hunting!" She yowled happily.

Blitzpaw quietly pads into the forest, trying to keep as still as possible. Through a blackberry bush, she spots the family of a vole. She creeps forward, and quickly dispatches all the voles. "One, two, three, four! I caught four voles!" Blitzpaw whispers to herself.

Pebblepaw's eyes gleamed. "You bet!" She purred and quickly calmed herself. "Yes, I'm ready," she said smoothly.

Arrow paw ran into camp with her sister, ferret paw following, They stopped to watch their leader walk past them. Arrow paw and ferret paw ran into the apprintice den bumping into one cat in front of the den "Don't stand there please!" Ferret paw yelled over to the stranger.

Blitzpaw scampers back into camp, leaving hard pawprints in the sand. She drops the 4 voles on the fresh-kill pile. Blitzpaw skips back to the apprentices den, seeing Ferretpaw talking to a cat. [I don't know which cat that could be]

Copperberry let out a small grunt when the apprentices bumped into her. "Little rascals," she muttered to herself. "Hey, Arrowpaw! I hate to ruin your fun, but it's time for your training." She kneaded the ground with her paws as she waited for her apprentice's response.

Beechpaw, who was sound asleep in the apprentices' den just a moment ago, opened one eye to see Arrowpaw and Ferretpaw come in. "Are you two in trouble?" she asked teasingly.
