She moved after Dusty, a small smile on her face. She was beginning to catch up to him, she had been going slow on purpose so that he would have the chance to run ahead. At the moment, Lucina could beat Dusty at a race, but that could possibly change when the yearling got older. Noticing that someone was approaching, she slowed her gait to a walk and looked to who it was, seeing the lead mare approaching. Wondering what Snow wanted, she halted and stayed quiet as Snow spoke. "Sounds good." She nickered. Looks like they would be moving when Samurai came back, which was fine. She thought it was about time they moved anyways. Feeling a nip, she pinned her ears slightly and turned her attention back to Dusty, who didn't seemed a bit annoyed that she had stopped chasing her. The paint mare snorted and nipped at Dusty's forelock.

Thunder remained by Phantom, though he wasn't grooming her now. His brown eyes carefully scanned the land for any threats, there were some horses here and there, but he didn't see anyone who was close enough to be a threat to them. Lucifer was no where in sight, and Thunder had noticed Garry moving away from the herd, towards an unknown horse. Hearing Phantom speak, the dark stallion looked back to the dappled mare, frowning at her question. Now that he thought about it...why was he here? He joined in when Pan and Grim were attacking Pride when this herd was still his, and he thought about leaving a few times but never really thought or did anything about it. "Well...I have thought about it a few times..." He trailed off. If he wanted to, he could leave. But what about Phantom? Pan had given Ghost and Phantom to him some time after they took over Ace's herd, but could he leave with Phantom? He didn't even have any breeding rights in this herd, so he doubted that if he did leave, he could take a mare with him. "If I leave, would I be able to take you with me?"

Natsu watched Hwin curiously, would she join them? She was a young mare, who was alone. Winter was on the way, and if a horse had any hopes of survival they would stay with a group. Natsu and Squire had each other, but a larger group would be nice. He had a feeling that this winter would be different due to the drought this year, but having a few more with them wouldn't hurt. To keep warm during the harsh season, a herd would have to huddle together and share their body heat, more horses meant more warmth. When Squire stepped up and introduced himself, he decided to do the same. "I'm Natsu." He said simply.

Tidal had gone off somewhere, and Sebastian was starting to become bored. He had tried to play with Faith earlier, but she made it clear that she wasn't really interested in the moment. He snorted and looked around the herd, his ears swiveling. He didn't really like being the only foal in the herd. He did receive plenty of attention and enjoyed being with others, but it would be nice to be able to play with others his age. He wondered if Eevee and Mew would ever return. His mother told him that the strange, two legged beings that took them away were called 'humans'. He hoped that they were okay, humans didn't sound very nice. Faith had told him that humans had gotten her and one of her old stallions once, and they weren't kind to her. Faith managed to get out, does that mean that maybe Mew and Eevee could come back? Sebastian looked to Apocalypse, who was moving through the herd. She resembled Mew, with her pitch black coat and blue eyes, but the two mares were different. When Sebastian first met Apocalypse, he was a bit intimidated by her, but the colt had grown to like her. He trotted away from Faith and moved towards Apocalypse, slowing to a walk once he was at her side. Like the other two mares of this herd, the dark mare had a round belly which indicated that she was in foal. It was Tidal's foal, and he or she would be Sebastian's new brother or sister. He tried to think of something to say, but nothing came to mind. So he stayed quiet, his ears pricked and alert as he walked with Apocalypse.

Frowning, he carefully watched Mariah. He had noticed the filly, their new daughter, beside her but he focused on Mariah. Was she telling the truth? A number of scenarios ran through his mind. Perhaps Riku and Winter had run off, and Mariah was lying. Maybe Winter left to foal, and Riku had left a bit later to steal her and their foal away. Or perhaps Winter had left to foal and just had not returned, and Riku actually heard something and went to check it out. He didn't know what happened, but he expected Winter to return with a newborn filly or colt. "If Winter does not return soon, Ill go look for her." He replied. Then, he turned his attention to his new daughter. "Who is this?" He asked, lowering his head to get a better look at the foal. He pricked his ears and studied the filly curiously, his gaze flicking to Jack when the colt came over.

The black and white stallion moved behind Winter and Eskimo at a steady pace, hoping that they would be able to move far from where Riku was. He would do what he could to protect both Winter and Eskimo. Winter was Riku's first mare, and he hoped that they would stay together for awhile. Then there was Eskimo. If Eskimo was an unrelated folly, then he would keep her, but Eskimo was actually Riku's half sister. When she got older, Riku would allow her to leave. He remained alert as they moved, his ears pricked and taking in the surrounding sounds. His dark eyes carefully scanned the forest around them, checking for any threats. They had to keep moving, put as much distance as they could between them and Akuma. If the stallion found out and caught up to them, they would all be in trouble. Hearing a whinny, the stallion tensed and his heart beat quickened, fearing that it was Akuma. However, if Akuma did found them, he expected him to sound angry, and this whinny didn't even sound familiar to him. Moving at the same pace, he looked towards the source of the whinny, his gaze resting on a mare. A lone mare by the looks of it. He nickered to the mare, she was welcome to follow them if she wished. Normally he would have approached her, but they needed to keep moving forward.
