I won't rule it out completely. Rest assured there will definitely be raffles for the winter holidays, at least Christmas. I want to make the Hanukkah one a form contest to be sure it goes to someone who either celebrates or at least understands the holiday. If I have the time and anyone wants it I could make a Yule Teamaid as well, or any other winter holiday that people celebrate.

With Winter teamaids, I'd think doing an auction on an ice one would probably be successful, there are still a lot of people in the Frozen nation and a ton of them are on Chicken smoothie.

*sheepishly raises hand* Yeah, big Frozen fan myself. My plan is to do a sort of snowflake-ish tail fin. Sadly, there is no way I would be able to make Elsa's hairstyle, either of them.

do the same type hairstyle you did on the autumn one, but without the bangs, boom, done. and the snowflake, just alter the maple leaf.

But Elsa's hair is more complicated than that, and I couldn't do it justice.

*Frozen rant*
For starters, her braid most often rests over her shoulder and down her chest, which I don't think I can do given how the one braid turned out. Her braid also tapers much more dramatically. And she doesn't lack bangs, hers are just swept back except for one short lock, which I know if I tried to do it would just look lumpy. Trust me, I'm actually almost as bad at hair as I am at hands. ^^;
*End rant*

Besides that, I'd rather not make anything too similar to a copyrighted character. I don't think Disney is going to come and C&D me, but it just doesn't feel right for the Teamaids to be borrowing from existing characters. I'm all for fanart and whatnot, but the Teamaids are meant to be original characters.

No need to frozen rant on me, I've seen the movie at least ten times and own it as well as blankets, cups, books, anyways. I understand all of these differences, which is why I said to do it like that, it's similar enough to be appealing to Frozen fans, but different enough to be somewhat original, just credit Disney's character Elsa as a ref and you should be fine.

So it looks like the majority of you want the Teamaids to look different based on gender. What I want to know is, what do you think should be different between males and females of the species? I do not promise I will use all of the changes suggested or even do whatever the poll determines is most wanted. What I will do is consider any and every idea tossed around and try to find a good balance between what you want and what I think I can do and make fit the theme.

To start with, my general plan is just to make the males visibly distinct; slightly sexually dimorphic but still clearly the same species. They will almost certainly be similar enough to use the same parts, because men can have long flowing hair and wear jewelry if they want to. Personally I've always thought of merfolk in general having those tendencies regardless of gender, so I want that to show in my species.

So now I want you to tell me, what makes a male Teamaid look different from a female Teamaid?

I think the males should have a more square jaw and defined arms, as well as a thicker tail and different eyes. I also think they should be in a different position, maybe with their arms resting on the rim of the cup, rather than holding up their heads?
