Hmm. In my eyes the new staff pup is more dragon than dino
because of the tongue, the tail (no dino has a tail like this..ôo) and the horns. :p

and ... i like dragons more than dinos..xD

I loved the Grown-Up PPS last Christmas!!


When I saw it I had mixed feelings. I have noticed how many people are bashing it, I do not see why all the hate. I understand it looks odd without ears, but then I relized it was because I was viewing it as a dog. I shouldn't be, it is not a dog to me when I look at it, it is a dinosaur!!! The more I look at it the more I enjoy it, it is not a dog but a dino!! I would have liked to see spikes on the head, but it doesn't make me think it is ugly. I love how unique it is! I absolutley love the slitted tongue and the heart tail, what a cute little dino. A fantastic finnish to the staff blankets, and it being a PPS ^_^ that makes me so happy. I see dino no dragon, dragons have wings (or in chinese dragon case, fur and whiskers and long)

I think it looks creepy, personally. Its kind of a cool idea though, it seems Tyr and Equi paired up (possibly just by accident) with the Kirin and Dragon Pups....Hmmmmm.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion on this though. I AGREE WITH THE ABOVE QUOTED STATMENTS.

We really should be grateful for the pets. If you don't like it, don't adopt it.

The problem with this, in this case, is that there were 12 other unique designs, from a myriad of different artists. Also, the pets all look exactly the same when they're adopted, so that holds no water.

QFT? Sorry, I was making dinner. What I meant, was, if you don't like it, don't hold onto it, basically. I didn't mean "psychically know what the pups look like and thus don't adopt all the pets in the litter". o.O; You're kinda over-analyzing what I said.

Anyways, I'm surprised we got a staff PPS, but I can't wait to see the others grow. I agree it would be a nice GUPPS.

The Reluctant Dragon doesn't have wings and the puppy's tail looks just like the Reluctant Dragons: link.

Hmm, when I try to look at it as a dino and not a dog, the feet throw me off. I think it doesn't look reptilian enough to have the majority see it and view it as a dino/dragon rather than a dog.

After going through everybody's comments since mine, I was thinking maybe just a little tuft of hair would have been a nice edition. I know dinos/dragons don't tend to have hair, but it is still part dog too. The way I see it is it's not strictly dino/dragon. It's a hybrid. I think the hair would have made it look less bald & more appealing seeing as it has no ears. It would be kinda like Malk's dragon dog last year. I'm already starting to like the no ears thing, very unique & daring to do, but some hair would have been nice.

I too hope there's a GUPPS version of it soon!!!

Okay... gonna go against the general public and say I actually like it... in a way. I don't mind the head at all to be honest, I think my pet peeve is the fact that it is a staff dog, and I always like to see them grow up. I dunno, it makes me happy to see their lineart edits and whatnot in both pup lines and grown lines. Like their way of showing off or something. I will admit though, the tongue... way out of place. Because of it, it looks like a dragon to me, not a dino. Dinosaurs do not equal forked tongue, that is a reptile or dragon thing. My boyfriend enjoys lecturing me enough on his science rampages for me to have this way to engraved on my head. x.x I wasn't a fan of the tongue on the Malk one last year either though, so maybe I just have a thing against that kind of tongue on CS pets. Other than that, I am hoping for GPPS this Advent as well. It would be interesting to see this boy grow up. ^^ I can imagine the bigger horns and a somewhat more devilish look to him already. XD
