Many moons ago, TideClan was created by a tom named Ospreystar.
He taught his clan to use their resources wisely, such as the ocean. TideClan lives in a
forest very close to the coast. The main prey caught are fish, rather than woodland
creatures. Low tide is the time most of the hunting patrols are sent out. TideClan's
territory is a vast section of sea and a couple acres of forest. Apprentices are taught to fight in the water
more than on land. Most TideClan cats have adapted more waterproof fur over the years,
as well as webbed paws. Every kit learns to swim at a young age, usually by their mother.
The cats of TideClan don't have many neighboring clans, since the other clans live in the
forest. There are plenty of freshwater lakes also in TideClan's territory, so various species
of fish are found.
