Getting this from another book, not mine. But it is true.

My Cat Saw a Ghost- c Everything Ghost Book by Jason Rich

I have an aunt who used to live in Kansas City. About five years ago, I flew to Missouri to visit her. She lived in an older plantation-style house, which had been divided into two halves, duplex-style. My aunt lived in one half. I was sitting in a reading room on the second floor, adjacent to one of the sealed doors that seperated the two "apartments." My aunt's cat was sitting in my lap.
All of a sudden, the cat began arching its back and hissing in a way I've never heard. It was terrified but refused to leave or be consoled. I looked around for what was bothering the cat, but we were alone in the room. Then I took a deep breath, and almost choked. I could smell a very strong, very putrid perfume. It was almost overwhelming. It seemed as if the air was getting tighter...as if the pressure was increasing. I looked at my aunts cat, which was still going crazy. Its attention seemed to be wandering to various parts of the room.
At one point, the cat grew frantic, backing away from whatever it sensed, and screeching loudly. By this time I was covered in goosebumps, my heart racing, I could almost feel my hair turning grey.
Eventually the cat calmed down, and the feeling in the room cleared. My aunt came in and realised what happened. She said, "Did my cat introduce you to our ghost?"

15 year old Sarah is asked to babysit for the Johnsons next door. She agrees and arives promptly at 7:30 PM. Mrs. Johnson says that she will call durring the night and leaves her kids with Sarah.

So everything is fine until twenty minutes in there is a call to the house. Sarah wonders why Mrs. Johnson would call so early. She picks up the phone and before she can say hello a mysterious voice whispers into the phone. ''I'm coming" CLICK! The man hangs up.Sarah thinks little of this, and assumes that it was just a prank call.

A half hour later another call comes in but a different number is displayed on the caller ID. Sarah picks up the phone thinking it must be Mrs. Johnson. The same voice answers the phone in a hushed tone but louder. "I'm getting closer." CLICK! Now young Sarah begins to become frightened. She starts to think she might be in danger.

Five minutes later yet another call comes in from yet a different number. Sarah decides not to answer it thinking it is the prankster. IT WAS THE MOTHER.

Twenty-seven minutes later the phone rings. She picks it up thinking that nobody can be this persistent. It is the same voice, "I'm very near you." CLICK! Sarah decides she's had enough. She picks up the phone and dials the operator.

"Operator can you please trace these calls. Some freak is harassing me." The Operator assures her he will find out who is making the calls. "Thank you," says Sarah.

Five minutes goes by before the operator calls back. He says urgently," Get out of that house now, those calls are coming from your attic!" So Sarah gathers the kids and rushes out of the house while dialing 911.

The police arive only to find a man released from an assylum for good behavior. He was rocking back and forth with a kitchen nife and three cell phones at his waist.

The man was taken into custody, but broke out of prison two months later. He still hides in attics to this very day. So check. Your. ATTIC!!!

Off-topic much?

maybe if you dont say anything about they will forget they were just offtopic and go back to being on topic me myself if someone said off topic much well it sounds snotty to me and i would spam a lot but i guess thats just my opinion

Back On Topic: Heres a cool one that happened once: Next time you have that feeling of butterflies in your stomach, think about this story. Yeter Yildirim, a 15 year old Turkish girl, had suffered from stomach pains for over five years. They were a constant torment to the girl. She had gone from a happy girl with lots of friends to a lonesome girl who suffered sever head aches and stomach pain. Her family was shunned by suspicious villagers in their little farming community. Eventually Yeter's family moved 80 miles away because they were being persecuted by the town. As her symptoms worsened, her family finally took her to a hospital.

The doctors x-rayed her and went to talk to her parents. They matter-of-factly stated that there would be no problem removing the snakes from the young girls stomach. "What snakes??" asked her shocked parents.

The x-rays showed three snakes living in the girl's stomach, water snakes that she had apparently swallowed as eggs while drinking from a stream. They hatched and lived there for 5 years before being discovered as the cause of her sickness. They were slightly thicker than string and about a foot long. She was fine after they were removed.

Venting

Marylin was sitting on her couch with her cat, Kiki, watching 'Cats 101'. Her parents had gone out to dinner for the night and had left Marylin alone. It was 10:30, and she was relaxing and enjoying the parent-less night.
After a little bit, she felt a tingling in her stomach. "Hey, Kiki, are you hungry?" Marylin asked the cat.
"Mow." answered the cat.
Marylin nodded. "Alright, let's go to the kitchen." she said. However, she remember she left Kiki's favorite treats by the back door, and went to go fetch them. It took her a while to locate the cat treats. When she got back, she fed the cat two treats and walked into the kitchen.
Marylin was slightly scared at what she saw. A couple of the cabinets were swung open, some things scattered around the floor and counters. Marylin frowned and cleaned up the mess, and popped herself popcorn and grabbed a Coke from the fridge.
About thirty minutes later, she felt the need to 'relieve' herself. "Hey, Kiki." Marylin said.
"Merrrow?" the cat asked.
"Do you need to pee?" Marylin asked.
"Mrrr." Kiki jumped off the couch.
"Bathroom closest to the stairs or closest to the attic?"
"Mrrah."
"Alright, the one by the attic." But, Kiki was getting to be an older cat. Marylin remembered that there was a seldom used bathroom downstairs, and decided to go there.
When she sat down on the toilet, she heard a hard 'thmp' noise upstairs. "Boy, sure is loud up there..." Marylin thought out loud. But what would be there to make the noises? Kiki was right beside her...
Marylin stumbled out of the bathroom window, phone in one hand and Kiki in the other. She ran [clumsily] over to the neighbor's house. Marylin's parents were good friends with the neighbors, and when Marylin said she was scared and wanted to stay with them, they said it was fine.
Immediately, Marylin called 9-1-1. The police were over there quickly.
After about 30 minutes, Marylin's parents bust into the neighbor's house, their faces pale and their eyes big.
"Marylin..." her mother sobbed, wrapping her arms around her daughter in a tight hug. Kiki meowed.
Marylin looked at them, confused. "You don't know?" her father said, "There was a man in the attic... He was listening to you through the vent. He waited where you said you would be and checked around when you didn't come. After some time, he hid in the attic again... When the police showed up, he turned himself in, saying he was tired of hearing you venting."
"Oh, Marylin," her mother cried, "You almost died!"
Marylin looked out the window, scared to death.

I got one:

Do NOT Turn on the Lights

She commandeered the room in the basement of her dorm as soon as she realized she would have to pull an all-nighter in order to prepare for tomorrow’s final exam. Her roommate, Jenna, liked to get to bed early, so she packed up everything she thought she would need and went downstairs to study . . . and study . . . and study some more. It was two o’clock, when she realized that she’d left one of the textbooks upstairs on her bed. With a dramatic sigh, she rose, and climbed the stairs slowly to her third-floor dorm room.
The lights were dim in the long hallway, and the old boards creaked under her weary tread. She reached her room and turned the handle as softly as she could, pushing the door open just enough to slip inside, so that the hall lights wouldn’t wake her roommate.

The room was filled with a strange, metallic smell. She frowned a bit, her arms breaking out into chills. There was a strange feeling of malice in the room, as if a malevolent gaze were fixed upon her. It was a mind trick; the all-nighter was catching up with her.

She could hear Jenna breathing on the far side of the room—a heavy sound, almost as if she had been running. Jenna must have picked up a cold during the last tense week before finals.

She crept along the wall until she reached her bed, groping among the covers for the stray history textbook. In the silence, she could hear a steady drip-drip-drip sound. She sighed silently. Facilities would have to come to fix the sink in the bathroom…again.

Her fingers closed on the textbook. She picked it up softly and withdrew from the room as silently as she could.

Relieved to be out of the room, she hurried back downstairs, collapsed into an overstuffed chair and studied until six o’clock. She finally decided that enough was enough. If she slipped upstairs now, she could get a couple hours’ sleep before her nine o’clock exam.

The first of the sun’s rays were beaming through the windows as she slowly slid the door open, hoping not to awaken Jenna. Her nose was met by an earthy, metallic smell a second before her eyes registered the scene in her dorm room. Jenna was spread-eagled on top of her bed against the far wall, her throat cut from ear to ear and her nightdress stained with blood. Two drops of blood fell from the saturated blanket with a drip-drip noise that sounded like a leaky faucet.

Scream after scream poured from her mouth, but she couldn’t stop herself any more than she could cease wringing her hands. All along the hallway, doors slammed and footsteps came running down the passage.

Within moments other students had gathered in her doorway, and one of her friends gripped her arm with a shaking hand and pointed a trembling finger toward the wall. Her eyes widened in shock at what she saw. Then she fainted into her friend’s arms.

On the wall above her bed, written in her roommate’s blood, were the words: “Aren’t you glad you didn’t turn on the light?”
