I think really, we are just happy at the prospect of more adopts being made, I know I love every single one of you artists and when there are new artists I will love them as well! The reason everyone wants a contest is not cause they want to replace you, everyone just wants to be artists themselves as well, haha, that's the only reason! <3
We know you work so incredibly hard and we are so so so grateful. You artists are so talented and diligent and sweet and I wish I could give you all big hugs for all your effort and passion. I swear my WME and this community and everyone in it is what makes me happy when I am feel down.
So please please please don't doubt your worth and never think for one second that we don't appreciate you. We absolutely do. Every single artist, WE LOVE YOU ALL <333

In absolutely no way was I saying that the artists we have now aren't good enough or that we are bored with the artists or whatever your misgivings may be. Guest artists aren't replacing the artists we have now. New official artists wouldn't even be doing that. It's like how a lot of shows and music artists have guest appearances, I guess. Also, there are so many equid fans, I've always felt a little bad that sometimes the artists might feel a little overwhelmed by the sheer amount of demand and work. ^^;
I'm actually a bit shocked that you guys could actually take it that way. >.>
But then again I'm not, since things always seem to be taken wrongly.

My main point was that the whole guest artist selection thing seems a bit secretive and "insiders only". So, the people who aren't totally active in the fanclub and art thread and so on aren't getting seen readily and so they aren't even a consideration. ^^;
THAT'S why I said something about an 'artist' competition, not because I don't appreciate the current artists anymore.

Doge brought it up because I was expressing somethings in a stream. I'm sure no one meant it this way, but it kinda felt like you guys were all for opening a contest and getting a bunch of brand new shiny artists and it kinda hit my like "oh well I guess they don't think I am doing a good enough job anymore. Our designs aren't good enough so yea, time for new ones" Kinda time to head out to pasture I guess. I'm glad to see new faces and stuff, but just the way it was being worded kinda seemed like you guys would rather just have new artists. We work really hard for you guys so it kinda hurt a bit to see that you guys were bringing it up so much over the last bit in streams and such.

I agree! It's great to have guest artists, and congrats Char, but our artists are still active and they work tirelessly for us!

lol Hence why I said I am sure no one meant it that way, it was just how it has been making me feel. And as much as I wish otherwise, you can't reason with feelings. That's why they are called feelings, you feel them, can't control them. I am sick too so that doesn't help, I tend to be more vulnerable when I am sick. Anyway, doesn't matter. That's how I feel and all I was trying to do was explain it since I can't change it. Now I'm going to go before I upset anyone else or make myself feel any worse.. sorry

Congrats char!!! Your art is amazing and I can't wait to see what you have in store for us.

Kita no one could ever replace you, your personality and art is one thing that makes wmes a place i like to spend time at. Don't ever leave us!!! (Same goes for all of our artists, ya'll are an amazing bunch!)
