"I guess but there's normally always water nearby. And when you're beside it you become Invincible Man," Lyra giggled. "All I do is smell like wood smoke when I'm near fire." Lyra glanced at the clock on the wall and rubbed her hands together, creating sparks. "I believe it's time to eat. Hungry?"

Charlie hopiped down the steps and landed beside Livvy. Letting her eyes pass over the Hermes table which no one was present at yet. "I only notice how hungry I am now that I'm here. How about you?" Charlie asked, her eyes scanning the rest of the mess hall at everyone else. "Who do you think I should prank?"

Sparrow leaned against the border of Camp Half-blood when she heard a cry that sounded like "help". Sparrow straightened up and automatically made a grab for her twin daggers. One Celestial Bronze and the other Imperial Gold. A smirk creepted onto her face. She had been waiting so long for a monster or new camper, her adrenaline was already filling her body. She dashed off, her legs pumping, a grin still plastered on her face. She felt her spear tied to her back and and she couldn't have felt more excited and she really had missed the fights, which she only realised now.

Sparrow charged down the hill and let out a triumphing cry. As she ran she spotted a girl- centur. Sparrow allowed herself to stare for a moment before leaping at the dark eyes approaching. "Die, punks!" Her powerful voice radiated conficonfidence aas she raised both knifes in usion and stabbed at whatever the monsters were.

Jareb looked up. "Instant karma..." a smirk slowly spread across his face. "Well then. I'm suggesting we don't get in a fight or we'll both get double karma." Jareb smiled at her in amusement. Could this be my little sister? Could I finally have a sibling? Hopefully she's claimed soon... Jareb cleared his throat and smiled at her.

Cody followed Rachel, the awkwardness evaporating as urgency shrouded his thoughts. He ran faster, catching up with Rachel and surpassing her.

Chris had passed Rachel and Cody earlier on his walk and was now half way up Half-Blood Hill. He heard galloping of hooves, followed by hisses and a scream for help. He ran quickly, tackling the creature that attacked a centaur. No doubt it was Alex, but why was she like that? In that form? He put that to he back of his mind as the monster got his shoulder in it's jaws. He growled through the pain as it flared in its shoulder. He unsheathed his sword, wrestling the monster down, doing his best to ignore the pain as it clawed at his face and chest. He stood up, placed a leg on its chest, and jut as he was about to stab it, it threw him off, and he landed, winded, beside Alex. "You alright?" He wheezed. He stood again and faced the monster. He raised an arm, and thick grape vines snakes up its legs, immobilizing it. It took some energy to hold it there, but he made the vines hold the arms still too. Feeling faint from the effort of it, and his shoulder and chest wounds, he staggered foward and stabbed the monster with his celestial bronze sword, the monster exlodong into dust, and the vines falling from their face. He fell to his knees, the stinging pain catching up to him. Chris lay on his side, struggling to breath. One of the claws had priced a hole in one of his lungs, making every breath feel like a cannon shooting him in the chest.

Rachel had reached the scene, but she was too late to shoot the monster that turned into dusk " Oh my Zeuz..." she shockedly mumbled, running up to Alex - the girl was all covered in blood. Rachel was on the edge of a panic attack " What should we do, what should we do, what should we do..." she panickly mumbled. Then stopped for a moment. She looked around and went to a nearby blueberry bush. She quickly plowed it up and got a bunch of blueberries and alot of leaves. She went back at Alex and smashed the blueberries as fast as she could until something like a juice formed. She placed it on the leaves that stuck together. Then she placed it on Alex's wound " This will stop the bleeding for awhile. Luck that it doesn't hurt"

Ray looks up from her book upon hearing quite the commotion coming from outside. Snapping her book shut, she leaves it onthe bed before darting outside. She had always been natually curious, but it sounded like a fight or something had broken out. It turns out she was right. Her stormy grey eyes widen in surprise at the blood stained patches in the grass. This new girl seemed hurt, as did Chris. She gives another faint curse. Darting forward, she goes to Chris, whom seems to be in the worse condition. She was no healer, but she could at least stop the bleeding. "Hang in there Chris..." She mutters, taking a dagger from a sheath in her boot, and neatly tearing the hem of her shirt. Slicing it again, she then ties the pieces together to make it longer, before tying it tightly across his chest. The blood didnt bother her, but the thought of someone dying did. Having done all she could there, she gently wraps his arm over her shoulders. "You might have to help me out a tad if you can. We're going to the Big House alright?" She says, hoping to keep him concious and alert. Moving him wasnt smart, but they just didnt have many options.

Arriving at the scene, Cody didn't know what to do. Rachel tended to Alex while Ray attended Chris. When he lifted him and carried him, he rushed foward. Being a son of Appollo, he knew medicine. "Set him down." He muttered urgently, taking a ziplock Baggie with sqares of ambrosia contained inside. "He's.." His voice failed him, seeing his friend like this. He also found a cantine with nectar in it.

Chris struggled to stay awake, let alone breath. The pain was excruciating, and he felt like he wasn't much help moving when his knees were jelly. He forced them to move, but moving made it harder to breath. He wanted to tell them sorry about that, but he couldn't find the extra breath to do so. He hoped that Alex was alright. His heart pounded against his chest, which wasn't helping the blood stop whatsoever. Whenever he went to breathe, the air was literally sucked out of his lung, thanks to the hole. Since there was blood seeping into it, it left him to cough it up, which was hard to do, like choking that just wouldn't stop. He gathered enough strength to glance back at Alex. She seemed to be alright now, or at least better. She was in good hands, with Rachel there.

Ray notices Cody coming to help and sighs in relief. She hadnt thought of bringing Ambrosia, for she had never considered the situation being this bad. "Right," she says simply, lowering slowly to one knee. She keeps her hands on Chris's shoulders to keep him upright. "Im sure he will be fine," she says calmly, but with a forced smile. That was the good thing about her. She rarely lost hope, so when she did, that was when it was time to worry. Right now though, she was positive that no one was going to die.

Cody was trying to think of a way to get Chris to eat, but coughing up all that.. Blood.. He wasn't sure he'd be able to. He took the square, and since Chris obviously wouldn't be able to do it on his own on his condition, force fed it to him. He gave Chris some nectar as well, then sat back as Chris swallowed it down, though it looked like it hurt to. He waited, then sighed with releif as Chris stopped coughing up red liquid, and his breathing became slightly better. The wound on his lung had at least healed enough to not have a hole in it. That, he was grateful for. Though Chris was still weak, and the deeper ones didn't heal right away. Apparently, his friend chose that moment to faint.

Through it all, he felt pain, then sudden releif, and warmth. The wound on his shoulder, and a few other ones didn't heal fully, but he felt much better. Suddenly dizzy, his head killed against his chest and nausea flooded him. He groaned weakly then closed his eyes.

Ray sighs, gently allowing Chris to rest on the grass. She glances over at Cody. "Thank the gods you brought nectar and ambrosia with you," she comments. Her stormy grey eyes scans the scene with a faint frown on her face. Something seemed different about that new kid, but she couldnt place it just yet. With a shrug, she returns her gaze to the Apollo kid. She felt discusting, and probably looked it too, but she doesnt care.

(Having two Rachels is confusing...Just keep referring to my Rachel as Ray to make things simple~)

Cody recognized the look on Ray's face and smiled. "Hey, I know how you feel. It's messy isn't t?" He chuckled, then turned to the centaur, Alex, up by Thalia's pine. "Better go help her, I guess. Be right back." He ran up, gave Alex some ambrosia and nectar. She knew what to do with it, so he ran back down to join Ray and Chris again. "Why I have medical stuff on me? Jisheng in case something happens." He shrugged with a smile. "May seem stupid sometimes, web there isn't anything wrong though."

Ray smiles faintly, nodding, before watching him dart off to help the other Rachel and the other girl. She tilts her head back, gazing up at the clouds again. How odd that today started so normal, then just went weird from there. She watches the fluffy white clouds drift past, shortly hearing returning footsteps. Glancing back down, she listens to his explaination, before giving a slow nod. "Makes since with your father though. I suppose i should have known better," she replies with a humorless smile. Sometimes she felt like a failure to Athena
