The Seven Wonders are as follows; Transmutation, Vitalum Vitalis, Descensum, Divination, Concilium, Telekinesis and Pyrokinesis. It is said that the witch who controls all Seven Wonders is the most powerful witch of the world, or the Supreme. This woman is revered and respected, expected to uphold the covens and save them in times of strife. So what happens when a coven lacks a Supreme? Any number of things. But in the day and age where no child is taught to respect their elders, it follows that the coven falls to disarray. In order to try to pull together some form of semblance of a functioning coven, Lady Avril Bijoux begins a new school in an attempt to tame these unruly and often dangerous young witches and locate a Supreme.

Word has gone 'round that the last Supreme, Cordelia Foxx, is dying. Her legacy is the rebuilt New Orleans coven, but as she dies so goes it.
There are six young witches wrenched from their homes because, in Lady Bijoux's words, 'their parents could not comprehend the wonder of their talents'. They are brought to New Orleans to find a home, build friendships and learn to control their powers, all under Avril's careful guidance. However, not all is well. The reason for the coven's dwindling, pitiful numbers is the fact that the rival Voodoo group has not forgiven the loss of their queen, Marie Laveau. There is a war between the clashing groups and many a young witch has been caught alone and murdered. For a short time, Avril was alone. She brought the girls to New Orleans to reestablish the coven, but she has a hidden motive...

There are a number of characters required in this roleplay. These include the six witches and a small number of the Voodoo clan. I'm gong to limit this to four, since even in the television program there were fewer Voodoo clan members than coven members. There is also a small character description to go with it, do with that what you will. No more than two characters to a person.

→ No insta-Supremes. Do not declare that your character is the Supreme. That will be decided by a separate party.
→ No sob-stories. It's already sad that the girls got taken from their families or are oppressed for being black. Don't vamp it up.
→ No Mary-Sues. Obviously.
→ Do not copy-paste the personality/story from characters in the show. OCs only.

her successor in regards to being the teacher of the Academy.
Conservative and watchful, she would carry a secret to the grave.

This witch has been in the Academy for
years, is friendly with Avril and has excellent control over
the powers she is aware of. In time of crisis, she often
acts as an unofficial second-in-command.

While being quiet and cold
she is very capable by herself and is a talented
young woman in regards to music. In regards to
magic, she seems to be behind everyone else.

While being considerably gorgeous, she is not
as pretty on the inside. She's selfish and rude, expecting
to be treated like a queen for her new found power.
She is hell-bent on being Supreme.

as such is expected to follow the clan to death. She doesn't see

Ready for a debate rather than a fight, she is
skeptical about the validity of The Queen's claims and
will do everything in her power to find the truth. However,

Just to remind you all that there is to be no over-reaction to peoples' characters' behaviour. Do not take anything done within the roleplay personally. Ensure you write to the requirements which are 1 and a half decent paragraphs, with good grammar.

Important
In regards to character forms, I leave that up to you to design. I do expect, however, a professional, clean form with good grammar and an appropriate image. If this is an issue, please contact me promptly.

Important 2
When it comes time, a Supreme may need to be chosen. I will not be choosing and for sake of fairness, I will use a random generator to find the character who will ultimately become the Supreme. Do not make a fuss about this.

Reservations for characters are open via PM, but the character form must be presented to and approved by me before being posted on the thread. I'd like to be able to think that you will adhere to all rules, so this shouldn't be an issue, oui? Characters must be well thought out and written. I expect nothing but good things from this roleplay.

The Leader

Avril was originally a student at the Academy and quickly latched onto Cordelia, who seemed to have no quarrels with this. She was a quick learner and is very capable with her powers. She controls them well, though at times they seem to run rampant. She's not much of a speaker unless spoken to, but will take charge and make a point where necessary. She cares greatly for the coven and plans on saving it at all costs.
Because of Cordelia's obviously impending death, she finds herself searching for the new Supreme and to take her into her guidance. She was told all the stories of Fiona Goode and absolutely will not allow anyone like her to become the Supreme, not in her life time. Cordelia's name must live on.
She's fairly secretive and can be very underhanded. She doesn't like to lie or to be lied to. Avril has a surprisingly short temper and will have an argument with someone if necessary. Even in these fights, though, she would never use a secret against someone, not ever. She considers herself trust worthy, but in actual fact, she will go out of her way to do what it takes. She doesn't believe in violence, rather preferring to use words.
She's not used to teaching. She's never done it before and she doesn't know how to, if we're speaking honestly. It is hard for her to raise her voice at someone and even harder to enforce punishment. She feels the girls have been through enough and that it isn't her place to bring them more pain. But as said before, she will do what is needed when the time comes.

Above all, her main objective is clear; find the next Supreme and reignite Cordelia's legacy.

The Talent

Benny :: 16 :: Transmutation, telekinesis
Benny, despite her name, is a very feminine young lady, and will wear only dresses and skirts, or leggings. For a time she was a dancer, but found that her powers got in the way of this. She first discovered them practicing alone at the studio. She attempted a tour jete and found herself on the other side of the room. Because of this, she reverted backwards, insisting only one playing music, never to dance again for fear of flitting about in an unwanted fashion. Now she's a pianist, playing and reading music fluently. She prefers to write her own music, but will often be found playing Fleetwood Mac and Adele. She doesn't like to speak to others, it makes her nervous and often irritated. Benny's goal is simple; learn to control herself so that she may be able to dance again.

My names Micah Marilyn Marie, i don't really have much to talk about . I'm selfish doesn't matter to me if you talk to me or not .I have tons of friends after all , i am the queen bee after all. She doesn't like to be alone and likes to put people in their place, she was born in a wealthy family where this was allowed to do what she wanted, and she is super spoiled. Micah doesn't like to
be called by her first name, but well she also doesn't like be called by her last. Her hair is pretty light in color, its a dirty pink color. She doesn't dye it very often because she likes to go for more of an indie look. Marilyn's favorite animal has to be the deer, she plans to own one once she moves out.For some reason she can't convince her family to get one for her just yet. Although she is snotty and has pretty good grades, she does have a good heart. But, she doesn't open up to anyone because she doesn't like getting those things used against her. Eye color is this green blue looking color, she isn't that kind of girl who hates her eye color . She actually appreciates how she looks, although she does have those days when she just doesn't fell like she is all of that. Although she does like hearing peoples comments on how she looks.How tall she is , shes exactly 5'1 but she does have a big voice though. She knows where she stands in the middle of a situation. Although she will not take 'NO' for an answer, and also doesn't like to be lied too. Although these are some of the "good" qualities to have in being a girl. She doesn't like to have her hair up, because she doesn't like the way her ears look. So she hides them most of the time, although she is convinced she will never show most of her identity.. theirs always going to be a person out there who she will eventually show her hidden side too.

ray is very out-spoken about her opinions, never afraid to speak her mind, and never holding her tongue in any situation. she always appears to be happy, constantly on the bright side of life. to her, the glass is never half-empty, always half-full. a bad situation is temporary, and you can always make it better if you try hard enough. ray will never judge a person based on outward appearance or even a first impression, for she knows that some people have bad days. don't judge a book by it's cover is one of her mottos. she is care-free for the most part and tends to crack a joke when everyone is very serious, because she hates when no one is smiling. she does however have a very nasty bad side, which you do not want to be on.

ray's birth parents never actually wanted her. she didn't know why but they gave her up for adoption when she was only a few months old. she was one of the lucky ones though, for she was adopted into a loving family with two moms when she was three years old. however, they knew absolutely nothing about the 'life' or her powers, which she actually started experiencing at a very young age. when she was nine, her pet rabbit sparky died, and she was so upset and determined not to lose the little thing that she brought him back. that is when she started to realize that she was different from the other girls.
