Is challenging a name allowed? I don't want to say 'butt' and technically their 'butts' aren't the parts replaced by tulips. It's their tails, which makes more sense to me. Also tuliptail sounds cute and catchy.
Believe me, 'Flowerbutt' is not the name I would have chosen. X3 However, that's what the majority of users called them (being used almost twice as often as any variation of 'Tulip Tail' and by more people), and when a pet or litter is widely known by a particular name, that's what I have to go with as the 'official' name, exception being if the artist specifically rejects a particular name, like with the Mermalk and 'Angler Fish'. You're certainly free to call them Tuliptails yourself though - most people will know what you mean, and it was their second most used name. :3 I much prefer Tuliptails, too.
Thanks,
