Fawnkit ignored her not-so-sister, not in the mood to talk about anything. Instead she spoke finally, her voice sharp and slightly bitter. "I don't care so leave me alone." She hissed, filtering close to her mother, ears pulled back and her tiny tail low.

Greykit stayed near his mother also, however his attention was on Bristlepelt and Crowflight. Something big was going to happen. The shy little tom knew it.

OOC: Roxy, you don't exactly have the authority to say that, plus it's kind of blunt to her. She can do what she likes with her character, as long as it isn't overly drastic. And I'm SOOO lazy, I'm sorry, but I'm having a huge lack in muse right now.

Bristlepelt gaze cast over the clan and a sigh escaped him. All this work wasn't going to be easy. "As most of you have heard, there is a deadly infection in our territory that will cause a cat to turn into a crazed dead-like monster. Its spreading fast as we have already lost two clan mates to it. Aspenpaw and Breezekit will always be missed," he paused a moment to respect the dead apprentice and kit. "The tough facts are that things are going have to change big time. A patrol lead by Volantstar has left to investigate how to cure this. Mean while we have only one way to defend ourselves. Once a cat becomes infected your only choice is to kill the cat. I understand this is hard and cruel but it's the only way to keep the rest of us safe.
I want all cats of the clan to listen closely. You have to kill the cat without getting infected. Strikes to the neck or somehow contact to their head will kill them. Senior warriors will be regularly trained on this in the next few days," Bristlepelt instructed, briefly looking to the sky. The sun was about to began to lower and daylight was being wasted.
"We are going to do everything to protect ourselves as we don't know when the investigating patrol will be back. So, to keep safe patrols will be smaller and sent more often. However when apprentices are on patrols, at least two seinor warriors will go with. Most training and hunting will now be done close to camp and no one is to go past the lake or near the twoleg place.
"As for the camp, exits will be built into the backs of dens for emergencies. I also will be appointing cats to watch the entrance to make sure no Infecteds come through." He sat silent for a second as he finished stating the main changes. "Does anyone have suggestions or questions? "

"Should we make the camp stronger?" Blizzardfall meows over the silence. "Like have the entrances secured and stronger as well as the bushes and shrubs around the camp so it's not too easy to get in besides the entrance?"

Bristlepelt nodded. "We can. First I suggest we make the exists in the dens but after that we can certainly make our camp stronger."
