@Hime well i found out he's not agressive.. he's just "boisterous" He takes giant nips out of my angel on occasion and chases all the fish around. There is a reason his name is hitler....
And yes, the jet on my filter is over halfway down. the intake is on top and it cycles through and shoots out in the middle/low area depending upon how low the filter is in the tank.
From my experience (and not sure if this is true or not) of the 9 females I've owned over time either singlely or from my failed sorority, they all liked a strong current to swim against. The only downside is that they would "sit" in areas the current didn't touch when tired. The males like darting in and out more so than swimming against it, but only 1 out of the three males really liked and enjoyed it.
Good thing about the snails though... as aq advisor said, "Warning: Betta [Female] is not recommended to be with Ramshorn Snail - baby snails will likely to become food." which means that the population of ramshorns will be a little controlled, especially if i get a glutton of a betta. I am also tempted to have a ghost shrimp population in there too as another possible natural food source for the bettas, and if they end up being in a symbiotic relationship, thats great too because i think they are cool, plus there will be enough plant covereage so that only some will reproduce.
i really want to get:
duck weed,
java moss,
frog-bit,
baby tears java moss.
I wanna try and get these as well:
Amazon Sword
cabomba aquatica
Bacopa monierri
Ludwigia
Wisteria
Anubias (any)
Anarcharis
Echinodorus (i've liked pretty much all im seeing from this genus)
Java fern
Hygrophilia
Aponogeton madagascariensis
Lobelia cardinalis
Spathiphyllum tasson
Cryptocoryne
Hornwort
Myrio
I may get these
Banana plant
Not getting
Dwarf Hairgrass
Microsword (maybe im not sure how i feel about grasses...)
-------------------------------
Please note i would like to figure out what is all compatible together before shoving it all in the tank.

and what kind of plants and inverts should i get?
What kind of plecos are you talking? I hope you're not getting common ones, as they get very large very quickly, and produce a LOT of waste. Otherwise your stocking sounds good, and as far as inverts go I would probably go with shrimp over snails since snails produce so much waste. But that's my personal opinion.
i'm not quite sure what kind of pleco i want. i am not too familiar with the types of plecos, i am just starting to get into other fish besides bettas. so what are some good options?
and i guess i'll go with some ghost shrimp.
later on, if i change my mind on something, i may get swordtails. i have plenty of time to think about how i will want to stock my tank, but right now i am really interested in guppies and those cute little golden white clouds. cx

I would reccommend bristlenose or rubber lip. they don't get too big or lazy and will keep your tank clean. I would also only reccommend 1.
i would not reccomend a clown pleco because although they stay real small they tend to need driftwood and will eat that instead of algae.

How about cories instead of plecos? I have panda cories with male guppies and they work well together.

hmm... the cory cats seem quite nice too.
i really like the plecos though... i'll think about it.
would it be alright if i added two swordtails as well? so maybe get five guppies, some golden white clouds, two swordtails, and a pleco or a cory cat? i can forget about the swordtails if they wouldn't be a good idea. i just really love the way they look.
and how many golden white clouds should i get? the website i have looked at said they do best in a school of eight or more, but that seems like a lot.
edit;; omg, can i get this? i've never seen it before, it's so cool. ;w;

why not get a pleco AND corys? I have 2 sterba corys, 2 agassizi corys, and 1 albino bristlenose pleco (it was two but one was too stressed to eat and ultimately died, i'm not sure why, i tried so much to help him, I don't get it, the one I have left is SOOO fat, maybe it was my catfish's fault idk)
anyways yeah my corydoras come up and eat the pleco food while the pleco's eating it
the pleco doesn't mind
it's one big happy family
until the 7" featherfin catfish comes up and scares them all away to eat the food lol

I'm finally getting around to resubmitting my member form.
Username: .Lupin. (Though I just go by Lupin, no periods.)
How many fish tanks do you have: 3. Two ten gallons, fully cycled. One twenty gallon that has been cycling for nearly a year due to repeated setbacks.
Types of fish that you have: A school of four zebra danios and four ottos, and a school of six het. rasboras.
Your fishs' names: No names. I did name my previous goldfish Jack and dwarf gourami Mr. Whiskers. Both are missed.
How long have you had fish: I have owned fish for about six years. I have only properly owned and maintained fishtanks for a little over a year though.
I do have a question for you guys. Has there ever been a period of time where you've temporarily lost interest in your tanks? If so, what revived it for you? In the past couple months, I've barely had any time to devote to my fishtanks due to college and my job. I keep up with biweekly testing and water changes in the two ten gallons, but the twenty gallon is struggling to cycle fully because of my inability to test and dose it on a regimented schedule. This is really discouraging to me, and I've lost the desire for fishkeeping that I originally had. I feel as if I don't even have time to enjoy the tanks.

Sorry I've been MIA, my laptop screen was smashed ago I haven't really been around since before Halloween.
Mr. Chomped is pretty good. Had his first few Molly's a couple of days ago he had a bit of fun with them before he moved onto the ghost shrimp and ate a couple of those fellows too.
Also switched my beta from his old tank into his new one, and he seems pretty happy with everything I stocked it with. No fights between him or his companion. It's a small goldfish one of the prettier feeder fish I bought about three weeks ago. Seem to tolerate each other but this is the first beta I had where he didn't outright attack the tank mate hahaha.
