Thanks to a very kind soul PMing me about the adopting, I've decided to go on a search for a parent or parents for Samhain! Though the plumie(s) would have to be able to deal with her being quite a rude plumie. She is not necessarily rude at the moment, actually she appears extremely sweet and innocent except when she bites. However she hates being called cute and her aim in life is for everyone to be terrified of her. As she grows she will probably turn into quite a rebel and maybe even an evil plumie. I'm hoping I can get a parent/couple who respect this or I'd love even if one of the parents (or the parent) was quite evil themselves and encouraged this behaviour. Either of those would be good so as she grew she'd have a big bond with her parent(s). Please PM me if you'd be interested!

Ahhh two different tiers seems like a really smart plan! And yes, I'm thinking I'll have some kind of back up artists (including me!) + some sort of punishment for backing out of the top tier/backing out of the bottom without a prior warning, so people don't just do it willy-nilly ;o; ~

This would be really fun! <3 I have done this on another forum, and it worked really well. I have to say that the person who is running it has to be very active.

I'd recommend running a poll, so you have an idea of how many people will be joining.

Also, to know who is with who, you should do a drawing. Or just make random pairs.
AND
If your partner quits, or doesn't make the gifts, there needs to be "helper elves"
These people would make extra gifts for the people that dont have a partner.


I know how to do all of this, SO, if any help is needed pm me whoever is making the thread. Its always good to plan ahead. I have done this before alone on another huge forum, and it went smoothly.

Ahhh two different tiers seems like a really smart plan! And yes, I'm thinking I'll have some kind of back up artists (including me!) + some sort of punishment for backing out of the top tier/backing out of the bottom without a prior warning, so people don't just do it willy-nilly ;o; ~

Sounds like a great plan to me! Maybe the division could be something like top tier has people who would order/make a lot of hq artwork (like, really fancy stuff not just doodles). Maybe there could also be someone to sort of keep an eye on how people are doing/what they have ordered so far just to make sure they are on point /w\ And also someone to sort of help divided the two tiers just generally based off maybe the owners own art of their plumerians and how hq it is or how much they have just to make sure the people who want to be in the top group will actually be able to meet the requirements and are not just joining it to get hq art of their own characters? Idk just a way to make sure everyone can follow through /w\

These ideas are really good. I also like watermelon love's ideas. However, I also have an idea! Maybe there should actually be three tiers! That way, people in the middle (like myself) can get art that is high quality, but not as high quality. Or, maybe if they just don't have enough time to do a lot of art but their art is high quality. I think this will be the most efficient.

Agreed. Hq -- like HQ, hq art would take me too long to complete and I am swamped in hw and other life responsibilities, so I think I'd fit nicely into the middle tier; decent art, not just a scribble, but not super hq.

this is a great idea !! and the middle tear could be for people who's art isn't exactly hq but still quiet good.. but I have a question, would the top tear be only for people with high quality art ?? or for people who will give a lot of gifts... because if it is just for hq you might have people going in saying they have hq and just doing a last minute scribble but think it is still good? or people who don't think their art is that good but when they make the art they give around 10 pieces and they only get 2 in return since they picked a lower tear?

That's why I suggest there are people who maybe help sort out things, take a look at what the person has of their own plumerians and decide sort of based on that. I'd say it should be more for hq art than anything, because even if it's a lot if it's only scribbles then it's not really great quality. To me quality > quantity in the art situation ^^ But that's just my personal opinion /w\
