"Alright, cool, I'll see you later." Matthias said as Adrian fled to his appointment with Chiron. He scanned the crowd and saw a few people he knew, but only one was sitting alone. He picked up his tray and walked over to sit across from Cassie, a nice girl from Aphrodite.

"So how's your day going so far?" He asked, without preamble. He didn't really want to talk Capture the Flag with her, because of course, she was on the opposite team. But that's okay, the Aphrodite kids rarely posed any real threat to him personally. He always had Lucian to watch his back, and if any Aphrodite kids got close enough to Charmspeak them, well, Matthias' dagger could become electrically charged.

Bane was getting a little annoyed with the questions. He didn't like talking to people, but he was at least glad she wasn't sitting too close to him. He continued to stare at the table while she went to throw her tray away. Then when she came back and sat down, he looked up at her. She asked what he would do for fun and he just simply shrugged before answering quietly. "I don't know... I mostly just train or sit and practice my abilities for a while.." He said. He paused before adding, "Or, sometimes I mess with people by... doing this." he pointed towards a girl standing about fifteen feet away and waved his hand. A rock from the ground near her flew into the back of her head. She whipped around and started yelling at the girl behind her. The two started fighting while Bane watched, and a small smile crept onto his face before disappearing. He looked back over at her and just shrugged, showing he didn't really mind.

Keira looked straight at Connor, the son of Poseidon, with her stormy gray eyes before making them glance down towards her feet. She smirked to herself, a dimple appearing on her right cheek when she did so, and then the half smile died, Keira watched Connor again. I'm ready. Keira said, unsheathing her own sword made of Stygian iron, but without the grin. Even though she enjoyed fighting most of all and she liked fighting other campers and demigods, too, that didn't mean she had to smile while doing it. Most of the times, she imagined it was a monster. Her logic: you don't smile while defeating and killing a monster. The thing is, are you?

Vex parted her lips to speak and respond to his statement until she terminated the sequence as he had actually continued onto another remark, one that certainly had her curiosity elevating. Half bewildered at what he might be referring to she traced the line of sight in which his finger had been pointing towards a girl, she was about to question what in the world he was doing when she saw a piece of earth hovering behind her that wound up smacking her straight in the head. As the girl began quarreling with another Vex broke out into laughter when she turned back towards Bane, more satisfied that he was smirking at the least. She also wondered when was the last time he had a genuine smile but tossed the notion to speak fully this time, "That was just perfect!" She grasped her gut in order to contain herself and her laughter slowly began to die down which allowed her to speak one more time, "Here, let me try." Vex scanned the room for her own victim when she saw a boy with brown hair walk into the area, passing by tables and she gestured towards him with a nod of her head. As the boy began walking by a table in particular, Vex made a small motion with her hand that caused a class of water to spill onto the front of his jeans beside another boy but with blonde hair. The blonde one started laughing hysterically and pointed towards his shorts while shouting "Look! Jonathan peed his pants!" and caused more laughter to break out within the small group. Vex, amused, looked back towards Bane for a sign of approval but couldn't contain the devilish smile that crept onto her face, she didn't mind that it was a childish move. "I'm glad that at least one person knows how to have some fun around here."

Adrian arrived at the archery range when Chiron had just let the young demigods start shooting with their bows. He quickly explained to the Centaur why he'd been late and soon got to work by walking around giving tips and adjusting how they held their bows. He was not even paying half attention to what he was doing, his thoughts instead remaining on a certain blond boy. He could not help but feel confused about how Lucian had acted, he guessed the boy was straight and all even though Adrian had gotten some weird vibes of him.

Cassidy looked down at her food. She normally sat by herself so wasn't to sad about it. Then suddenly she felt someone sit across from her, she looked up and her blue eyes met another pair of blue eyes. What was his name...ugh... Matt? No, Matthew? No....Matthias! Thats it. She was suddenly very aware of him asking her a questoin, "Oh uhm.. Alright. I guess, and you?" she asked politely, straightening up so she didn't look like a pig.

Lucian jogged in the pleasant sunlight, towards the training arena. He was in a confused and helpless state of mind. He didn't want to accept it, but his meeting with Adrian had re-surfaced feelings inside him that he had buried a long time ago. Or so he thought. Fretting and chewing on his lower lip he went to his cabin first and retrieved his sword, Albus. Feeling the heavy sword in his arms gave him some comfort and confidence. Strapping it against his back, Lucian came over to the training grounds. He saw a couple of demigods training, from which he recognized Vex, the daughter of Hades and Conor, the son of Poseidon.
Giving them a sideways glance, he unstrapped Albus and unsheathed the sword. Then holding it in both hands, he took his mind off today morning's interaction with the son of Apollo and concentrated on training. Fixing an imaginary enemy in mind, Lucian started his training.

Keira was about to imitate Connor when something he said made her halt, and a scowl appear on her pale face. She scrunched her nose and furrowed her eyebrows - the official signal she had to make people, or basically everyone in Camp Half-Blood that she was unhappy or disgusted for some reason. And now's reason was that some certain son of Poseidon she never had a proper conversation with, had actually called her babe. She pointed her sword at Connor's neck quickly, before he could even move.Do not call me babe. Keira said, scowlibng at Connor before drawing the sword back and kept it between the son of Poseidon and herself.

"Likewise." He said, cocking an eyebrow at her stiffled response. "So, how about we do a little sparring, before Capture the Flag, tonight?" He asked, grinning. They had fought a few times before and he always enjoyed it. She was more skilled than him by far, but they used similar weapons and he always had a few tricks up his sleeves.

Plus, sparring would be good practice before he had to go meet up with his brother in the sea. They had always enjoyed swimming together. It felt like they were taking on a great danger, but they were never scared because each knew the other one had their back.
