Nick let out a startled laugh at Kiwa's purr. He grinned a little. "Ah man." he chuckled. "That was... really cute." He blushed and smiled sheepishly.

Claude Bloom- After a small bit of walking we had finally come across the lake, well we were still a distance from the water, but we were already on the sandy shore. I kicked up a little sand on the edge of my grey converse and looked out across the water, it was even more stunning then the nature that surrounded it. I never thought I'd find myself being so, I don't know how to put it... sentimental? I didn't think that was the right word, but it didn't really matter anyways. I took a couple steps closer to the lake, but not close enough for any water to splash up on me. I looked into the water, for a moment almost hypnotized by it. I wondered what I might possibly say, but I couldn't think of any words so I just crossed my arms and looked down at the slow waves.

"Cascade" Cascade states his name blue eye's locked on the lake his blue irises water slightly. He blinks a couple times ready to pull the 'the sun got in my eye's' card if someone started to make fun of him. He didn't think Augustus would because he knew his powers, but he was sure about this Eli guy yet. Cascade didn't really care, but it was just getting kind of lame. He shuts the door so the lake would stop tempting him, and returned to his bed flopping down.

Kiwa blushed furiously, hands covering his face. Curse his cat like instincts making him purr at a time like this. His ear twitched in embarrassment His face looked like someone had just scribbled on his cheeks with a bright red sharpie. "shh, I'm not cute." He say's. "i'm scary" he lied to himself. He was a short boy with cat ears, and tail. "I'm freaking scary" he once again lied.


Oaken followed a couple steps behind staying just behind Claude as he searched the water with wide blue eye's for fish. He didn't see any so he moved a little bit closer. He was kind of on edge the hair on his neck standing up. it was honestly one of the most beautiful lakes he had ever seen. Which wasn't saying much because he had only seen two, but fish were just not his thing. He tried to relax slightly so that Claude wouldn't notice. Oaken couldn't even imagine how embarrassing it would be if he found out about his slightly crippling fear of any kind of fish. it even reached the extent that he couldn't look at goldfish crackers without letting out a repulsed groan.

Cascade and Augustus? They seem nice, and their names are really cool, Eli thought, peeking out of the corner of his eyes at the boy named Cascade as he set his bags on his new bed and began to unpack. His black eyes narrowed a little as he saw the boy's eyes water. There was no reason for him to bring it up, Cascade didn't seem to have a reason to cry. Perhaps it was linked to his power somehow? Or, maybe he actually was unhappy.
Eli realized he had stopped his unpacking to examine Cascade, and continued with a jolt. Mostly of the items in his dufflebag was clothing, but he decided to keep that in the bag for the time being. The next thing was his backpack, which held a portable DVD player, some movies which would probably never see the light, and three hardback books. Eli turned and sat on his bed, taking out one of the books, The Whistler. He opened to about halfway through and pretended to read as he slyly assessed his other cabin partner, Augustus.

Nick laughed, bright and happy, before giving Kiwa a final pat and leaning back on his bunk. He looked out the window, at the sun, no longer high in the sky, but still not quite settled on the horizon. It was still to bright out for his liking, but it was nice. Nearby, the sunlight glittered off the lake. "Do you remember what the counselor said about the lake?" he asked, suddenly.

Cascade glanced at his new roomate every now, and then. Checking out what kind of stuff he had brought. He hoped he was remaining illusive about it he didn't really want the new guy to know if he was watching him. he wouldn't know what to say if he did find out. He read the book title. he had heard of it. Never read it though. His blue eye's flicked from one roommate They were both on the cute side. Admitting such things even just to himself made his cheeks go a bit pink. He hides his face a bit more into the blanket to conceal the blush.

Kiwa jumped up suddenly remembering about that. "Yeah, he said there was like a weird thingy in there! I totally wanna check it out. He said we can swim in it so I bet he was just joking about the creature, but You never know" He rambles off telling what he knew about the lake. Which wasn't that much.

Augutus observed Eli, but not too long to not make it seem he was some sort of creepy. He looked away, and turned over to the window beside his bed, there wasn't too much of a view from his window, but the sky and trees, natural looking things made him felt the need to burn it up. All those trees looked so fresh to burn it down into ashes. He then looked away realizing what he was thinking about, he tried to figure out some way to keep his mind off of the whole destruction thing in his thoughts.

Mr. dargan walks out of the meeting hall a clipboard in one hand. He had an activity planned for the guys after they ate dinner. Which was a lot of Blt's. He walks up to the large bell out front hoping they remembered what he had told them. He gave the bell a loud ring.

It wasn't hard to feel the eyes glancing at him, and Eli could bet that they knew he had been assessing them earlier as well. "Do you guys know what we're supposed to do later? I didn't pay much attention when the director was talking, so I have no clue if he talked about the schedule or not," Eli said as he looked up from his book, taking a glance from Cascade to Augustus.

"he said to go to him when he rings the bell" Cascade say's standing up. "So I guess we go?" He said more like a question blue eyes flicking between Augustus, and Eli. He looks at them both for a good 10 second before looking at the door.
