@Alois-Trancy-
Ahhh rabbit snails! You've probably already read about my little bunny snail
family. c: It was love at first sight when I put in another rabbit snail
( I only had one to start off ) and they currently have two babies.
These snails are fun to watch, look unique and adorable, and come in
lots of different colour variations!

My only fear is that if a fish dies i wont find the body at all :\ i did have a sorority before but then the tank got overpopulated with minnows and they starved to death :\
@Bolt, yeah these blues would only produce blues and "red" albinos i would have the pinks in my other tank

. i was thinking maybe nerites and a SINGLE apple (i really dont need lots of those) any other snails that would go good in there? i think this is gonna be a fun experience

What about rabbit snails?
If you want to breed nerites, you need brackish or salt water. They can live in fresh water but wont breed. I recommend mystery snails or rabbit snails. Mystery snails or packed full of personality and easy to obtain. If you want rabbit snails, you'll probably have to order them online as very few places carry them. Hope this helps!

yeah i dont plan on purposely breeding snails and i knew that because i dont want loads of nerites so i would maybe get a tiger and zebra or two and then an olive and a few horned ones. but i really will like the albino and blue ramshorn snails and the rabbits too.
i'm thinking instead of bettas, of maybe going with endlers. reguardless of going with bettas or the other, i will be getting neons and cardinals

That make sense. Werent you the one with the angelfish in the 29g tank? I'd recommend switching all of the fish you have in your 29g into your 55g and then turning the 29g into the snail/plant tank. It'll be just as cool looking. I hope it works out with the many types of snails you want! Good luck!

I don't think nerites typically breed in freshwater, so snail overpopulation shouldn't be an issue in a betta tank.

So right now I have a jade mystery snail, 2 Goldens, and 1 black. I'm giving 1 gold and the black to my brothers 10 gallon and I'm getting a magenta, a blue, an ivory, and a green one! So excited!

So, i'm not part of this community but i used to be a long time ago.
Anyway, i got a male betta a few days ago. He's super cute; a small, young male with a whitish blue body/blue shimmer. His fin type is a halfmoon i lied he's a fantail dumbo and i love him o//w///o
He's currently in a 2.5 gallon tank (I would have gotten a bigger one but the only one other than that was a 10 gallon tank and it was too big for my room.) with no filter as of yet (I'm ordering one on thursday.)
Anyway, i'm thinking of getting him a tankmate. He dosen't seem like an agressive fish, fairly shy. Do you think he would be good with a zebra diano or another dull, small fish?
Moving to dA

I would recommebd a pair of corydoras. I personally love the sterbai (also called sterba) corydoras the most, they're not as shy as the other kinds of corydoras. Panda corys are suuuper cute, but they were the most shy corys I've ever had. They were always hiding...
But yeah, corydoras are really cute and aren't really bright or anything, I've never heard of anyone's betta having a problem with corydoras.
