Boredom was no fun, even if it was caused by self inflicted isolation. Usually, the large cat could find some defenseless snack to torture, but had come up with nothing so far today. In fact, it was this drive to eat that brought him into the area that smelled as though it was occupied by another. He could smell meat, and then, as he moved closer, the faint stench of blood. It was fresh. The male kept his motions fluid as he moved around the unsuspecting female, the trees hiding him, and the smell of the kill masking his scent. He watched her a moment before chuckling, speaking before being seen.

Id keep that paw away from that meat, your liable to get it infected miss.

His words came calmly, a cool cockiness to his tone as he stepped into view, careful to keep himself out of claws reach.

Id be more than happy to take the threat of infection away, eat the meat for you.

Dahlia spun around and faced the male. She lashed her tail. "Or, instead, I could slash you open and give you infection just for fun," she growled. Her fur bristled as she watched him, but she shook her fur and flattened it. "You know what? Fine. Take the rotting slimy bitefull of meat. Why would I care? I can hunt on my own anyway," she said, unsheathing her claws an studying them. "A darn good hunter, that's what I am." She flicked her tail and started to pad away, but paused as another wave of pain went through her paw. She licked it. "Stupid rocks," she muttered angrily, fur standing up.

Rocky watched the two fight and leaped over to dahlia "here," he carried a fawn

Diego:
Diego watched the female cautiously, a smile pulling at the corners of his lips. She was a fiesty thing. He chuckled again as he stretched, his body moving lazily in true cat fashion.

Ouch, testy. Don't worry Darling, you can keep your snack...

Diego sat, not looking at the female as he absentmindedly licked his tail.

she padded off not knowing what to do and jumped on a high rock and saw a few cougars doing something and she sighed and turned and left to take a nap (Lunar open)

Dahlia nodded and thanked Rocky for the fawn. She turned to Diego and narrowed her eyes. "What gives you the right to call me Doll?" she asked, but fell silent and licked at her paw more. The female cougar flicked her tail and relaxed, then she ripped off a leg of the fawn and began to eat.

she jumped from the rock and down towards the others and she said "hi what are your names?" she said as she sat down

Diego watched as the new male entered, eyeing the fawn curiously.

"I call all females Doll, don't worry you ain't special. Just as I call all males mate."

He continued to watch the other male, trying to decide if the two knew each other or not. She sure seemed a lot more comfortable with this other male than she did him. Or maybe it was just him. Diego tapped his tail on the ground a moment and looked around idly.

"Well, perhaps I should leave you two lovebirds to your date"

He stretched one more time and grew distracted as another female scent came his way.

"Busy place..."

He grumbled as he got to his feet.
