Hmmm, well in my story (or novel shall I say), I'm ashamed to say nothing even happens until like the middle of chapter 2. I mean, there's no other way to start it off, and I think I did somewhat a good job... I am up to 3353 words!

My plot was introduced in the beginning, as for what the main character wanted- and now it is sort of coming out a bit more. You are beginning to see more of their true personality, and what the book is all about. Maybe that's how you could do it? Or maybe it could be really obvious- if it works.

I think i've gotten it now. my story is a science fiction, and its a bit complicated xD
the characters are riding in a hovercar to a facility and i'm happy to introduce a few characters that will come into a huge plot later.

I am having like issues- it's like I know exactly what I want to write, but it won't come out. I'm like... "I'll do this, and this, but then this will happen" but when I go to write it down it's all "ogohjlhrkgnjjr"

I don't know how to get rid of it, or if there even is a cure XD

I really want to write a book so bad right now. xD The only problem is that I never finish my stories. I have my warriors story that I know I should be working on, but it's so tempting to write something else instead. Even though I have no ideas on what else to write. lol

If I was to work some more on my warriors story, could anyone give me some critiques on it? I'm sitting here reading everyone's stories and thinking to myself, I need to improve my writing. xD My story is driving me crazy because I feel like it doesn't flow right. I'm wondering if I should just restart it? Make a new thread and rewrite everything.

What if. I made the next contest on the contest thread something like write a novel? Obviously not in November, or December because of the busy holidays and other writing.
But seriously, what if we had a word goal thingy, and we could all write one? Or if someone did like a write a novel every month for a year?

Agg! I'm at 4,000 words for nano and I just need to get to 5000 today so I can be cool and say I'm 1/10th of the way there. How far are all of you guys?? I'm curious to know, although it might be bad for me because I tend to compete with people without even knowing it.

It's my first year too Yesterday I totally forgot so I'm trying to get ahead. Especially because I will be in school a lot and won't have as much time to write. I think this is a great program, and the pep talks they send out honestly DO help! It's amazing what some nice words can do for a person.
