Greykit watched the new tom with curious eyes. 'Another cat that will learn to hate you.' A small voice grosled in the back of her mind. The little kit shook her head, covering her ears with her paws and closing her eyes.

Gingerpelt smiled and flicked his tail, "Good morning Acepaw. How's life?"

She dipped her head and smiled. "Fairly good. Although same as every other apprentice. Doing work. Wish to be made a warrior." She admitted and looked up. He's kinda cute... She thought and let her red eyes rest on his eyes.

Wolfspirit noticed Squirrelpaw. "I'll be right back. We will leave in a bit." He meowed an padded to the apprentice. "You are going on a border patrol with me, Gingerpelt, and Thistleshade." Then sniffed. "Where have you been?" He asked.

"I'm sure you'll be a warrior soon, less than three moons. That's for certain. Maybe I can edge a good word in for you to Moonstar. I've seen what you can do. Very impressive," Gingerpelt commented.

"Me? Just watching the scenery. I promise. No tree climbing involved," Squirrelpaw explained.
