She nodded. "Okay." She shook her head to numb the pain of her bite wound and padded that way. She leaned against Hawkclaw.

Hawkclaw carried her weight on his side. He felt a pain shot through his right paw. He ignored the pain hoping Windheart didn't noticed.

Windheart remembered the prey and stood upright, padding over to her kill. She scented a squirrel and froze, crouching instinctively.

Hawkclaw went where he buried the prey he caught then looked at Windheart. "Come on," I took a step to her and a shot of pain surged up my leg.

She saw him flinch when he stepped on his paw and hurried over, leaving the squirrel to run. "What is it?"

Hawkclaw smiled a little, "Nothing."

She frowned at him. "No, not nothing, what is it?" Her tail lashed.

Hawkclaw sighed, "I don't know it just hurts."
