Peter started stalking the deer, getting closer and closer with every second. He would be careful of where he stepped and would go the same pace Mara was

Mara spotted the deer it's back facing them, it seemed distracted as it munched on a clump of grass. Mara narrowed her eyes at it and took a few paw steps forward trying her best to be silent.

Peter saw the deer she was heading towards, and started for it. He flicked his ears, and crawled towards the deer slowly

When Mara thought she was close enough she shot up and lunged at the deer. It bleeted trying to make a run for it as Mara sunk her fangs into its flank and gripped at it with her claws.

Peter jumped up at the deer, and clenched its teeth on a leg, making sure the deer would fall to the ground. Once the deer was down, he bit the its neck

Mara crawled on top of the squirming deer holding it down as Peter suffocated it. When the deer stopped moving Mara crawled off with a slight smile, "Good job Peter" She said with a happy smile.

Once he saw Mara move off, he let go of the deer,"Thanks, you did good too" he replied with a smile

"Let's get this back to camp" Mara nodded sinking her fangs into the deers flank and began dragging it back towards camp.

"Do you need help?" Peter asked, trotting beside the deer they had just caught

She sniffed the air for scents "would you mind leading the hunt?"
