It might be rare, actually; a lot of Halloween pets like that are. But it's more likely that a lot of the black ones are still growing as people adopt more eggs. Once the event has been over for a few days you might have more luck.

True, true, but it's still a pain in the butt! I think its the only one I'm missing right now, too (excluding any future ones from the DotD 'pillars or the bats) which is making it that much more frustrating for me. //shrugs

Woot reached the new and last banner limit!
I found 350 candies. Popcorn ball was my last banner click, ahh my goal is done.

I got pretty lucky myself. I adopted 5 Chicken eggs, and got 5 different outcomes.

Unrelated, I got the 350 limit, and still have a Double Candy Event leftover.
