"Sure." Windheart got up and padded out, towards the fresh-kill pile.

Hawkclaw walked out and went by Windheart and grabbed a mouse.

Windheart picked up a rabbit and dropped it. She stepped on it, crushing bone, and split it in half, putting the other half back. She padded over to a sunny spot and relaxed, taking a bite of the rabbit. She was silent, dwelling on the warrior code: thank StarClan for the prey.

Hawkclaw walked over to her and laid down, "You don't mind if I join you."

[petrichorus]

She smiled. "Of course not." She continued to eat.

Hawkclaw nodded and ate his mouse. "Nice day were having."

"Yes," Windheart began, "but it's getting colder. Maybe we should go hunting later...stock up on food." She swallowed her last mouthful of prey before rising to stretch her cold limbs again.

Hawkclaw nodded and finished his mouse. "Ready when you are."

[petrichorus]

She nodded and bounded out of camp, flicking her tail.

Hawkclaw nodded and followed her.
