If a guy asks you if you're going to a school dance, is there some implication behind that or...? Me being my socially incapable self didn't think anything of it so I said "Yes, I am going to the dance...I'm third-wheeling."
So he asked if I was okay with third-wheeling, and I said I was fine with it, since it's something I tend to do a lot now that high school has rolled around. I suggested that he just come along for the fun of it, because he sounded kind of upset, in a group with my friends and I, but he said he'd rather go with a date. I told him to ask several girls who I was pretty sure he liked, but he said that he didn't like them anymore/ they never even noticed him. Well, I felt sorry for him, and he didn't really seem to want to talk about it more, so I changed the subject to other things.

To be honest, I didn't think much of it, but today my friend said that somebody had been planning to ask me to the dance. Apparently whoever it was, I had said something upsetting to them. I'm not really sure who that was, and I feel kind of worried that I might have accidentally made a rude comment to someone, so as I'm trying to figure out who it is [ my friend won't tell me ], my friend asks if I'd go to the dance with so-and-so, one of the names in her list including the guy I was talking to the night before. The other name was one of my best friends who I consider more family than anything else, and I know for sure that he'd never be caught dead at a school dance, let alone ask anyone to a dance. So I'm not really sure if she was hinting that guy-from-first-paragraph was going to ask me, or if I've missed the point entirely and I'm going to be surprised.

On that note, what do you do if someone asks you to a school dance, in a public setting, and you don't really want to go with them but you don't want to reject them in front of everyone? And if somebody asks you to a school dance because they like you and you go with them, does that mean you're 'dating'/'going out' after that, or is it just kind of a one-time thing? Sorry for all the questions; I'm asking a few as a favor for my friends as well :b

Also what are some things you would do to try and figure out if he likes you (like giving him a nickname, and seeing if he was okay with it... i am so clueless on the art of courting [I like the word courting.] A guy..) without directly asking him?

I'm really confused about if my crush likes me or not.
When we would sit near each other we would always joke around together, or he would tease me, and we would talk almost the whole time despite having to sit at the front of the class, but he wouldn't talk to any of the other girls around us unless they talked to him first.
The thing is, I thought he liked someone else in our grade so I'm super confused?

Happy Rant~

So there was a Halloween dance and such, well the guy that asked me to the dance hung around his best girl "friend" who denys that he likes her, and well, I felt a lot like a decoy so he wouldn't ask her to the dance. Now the fantastic thing is, is that they were together basically the entire dance, and were so cute. That made me happy since they would be so perfect for each other <3

Now the greatest thing is that I actually hugged a guy[minor, I know but it's a break through for me...]. It was kinda awkward because, like most people, he's shorter than I am. But He said if, L (the guy who had originally asked me to go), hadn't asked me he would have ^-^

My parents made my boyfriend and i break up because they don't like him. Not only do they not like him because of his race(which is really messed up.), but he is a couple years older than me. They told him we had to break up and he isnt allowed to talk to me anymore. I'm really upset about it and i don't know what to do.

I can't stop thinking about this guy.

So long story short, I am a freshmen and he is a senior.
We do crew together, but now he drives to the crew place so I don't talk to him anymore.
He is super cute and I have a huge crush on him. Like he is always on my mind and my locker is right next to all the seniors and whenever I see him, I blush up like crazy. Like today I was walking and he ran into me and like body on body contact. My whole face went red and I stopped berating for a second. He smiled and looked down and said I am so sorry. Like gaaaa, I know I will never be able to have him. But is there anyway to get him off my mind.
He is just to perfect and in crew he only wears spandex shorts and not shirt and .... *drools* I really can't take it. Also, I always stare at him when I walk by and I think he is starting to catch on. But please give me advice in any way possible.
