"Alright," he said, standing up to stretch. "I struggle taking down a doe," he said, hoping to help Aspen feel more confident about herself. "Its persistence that gets you there in the end," he said positively. "You're probably tired, do you want to sleep in the mothering den? The pups are in bigger dens now and there are currently no mothers," he explained, pointing a paw in the direction of the den. "Or you could come hunting if you want?" He suggested, beginning to walk toward the camp exit. "If it were me... I'd rest," he said, turning to look at Aspen.

Aspen

She looked over to the mothering den that he had suggested; it looked comfy. Perhaps a rest was a good idea, she had been walking for a little while before she and Orion had come across each other. But she was still rather awake from their meeting, and wouldn't be able to rest right away even if she tried. After a moment of thoughts such as this, she stood to follow after him. "I'll come. I can rest tonight," She said.

"Sure you can," he said, leading off into the forest. "We could do with catching a big buck," he said. Orion immediately pressed his nose to the floor, picking up various scents. "They're scarce in winter though, most likely moving constantly," he sighed. His ears perked up and swivelled slightly, picking up the scent of a white tailed buck. Stalking forward, he moved at a quick pace toward the smell, keeping cover behind a thicket of bushes. After fifteen or so yards, Orion stopped and peered over the bush. He looked over his shoulder at Aspen and gave a nod. Crouching further back onto his haunches, he sprung up like a windup toy. Landing a few paces in front of the doe, he quickly bit into its front leg before it could flee.

Aspen

Aspen followed quickly behind Orion; letting him take the lead. She didn't know the layout of this place anyhow, not where the prey were most likely to be. When he found the scent of some sort of prey, she paced along, keeping her distance when she too could smell it, she didn't want to give them away to quickly; before they were meant to. She caught Orions nod from the corner of her eye, and slid back to gather a running start. A moment or two after he had sprung forward, biting into the bucks front leg, she too sprung from her cover; claws out reached for the neck of the buck.

Orion dug his canines into the deer's leg, drawing little blood. Letting go, Orion stood back and leapt onto the back of the doe. Clawing his way onto it securely, he bit into the back of the doe's neck. The pressure on the doe and Aspen's biting force eventually brought it to the ground with a thud. Stepping off the limp doe slowly, Orion exhaled heavily and looked at Aspen. "You're strong," he said surprised. He clenched his jaws around the doe's neck and began to drag it.

Aspen

The black fae felt her claws dig in far as she hit her mark; her teeth digging in next. Before she knew it, it was over, the doe lying limp on the ground, her maw slightly bloodied from their attack. She sat back for a brief moment; cleaning off her maw as best as she could, though red flecks remained here and there, and would take a longer licking time period to remove it. When Orion complimented her, she stared for a moment, snapping back when the grounds rusting began when he started to drag the doe. "You were as well." She said measly, before grabbing a hunk of the doe, and helping to drag.

Mera

She was still a bit dozy she needed a drink so she was tempted to go out of the camp on her own so she chose to sneak out then when she was going to go down she seen this wolf and she thought he was dead until she seen him move a bit she then ran over to him and said ''Are you okay!'' She said running over to him

Frost didn't answer; he was too weak. He barely wined, and opened one eye looking at Mera. His head moved a little up, but he soon collapsed the ground, his breath slowing down each second. Soon, he started to struggle to breath.

Orion hauled the deer back into camp with Aspen's help, his teeth feeling weak from pulling the doe. "Thank you," he said, dropping the doe in the middle of camp and giving Aspen a little nod. "You've done your fair share of work, please rest," he urged, turning with a smile to walk back out of camp to patrol the borders. His tail dragged on the floor behind him slightly, "scouts have become lazily recently," he scowled, walking up the steep hill.

Aspen

Aspen let go of the doe when Orion did, licking her lips once more. She nodded lightly back to him as he turned, and she glanced around the camp. Perhaps the others were out doing their own things now, and she was the only one in camp. Tracing back over Orion's words, she headed for the mothers den; a temporary one for herself, besides, it seems nice and cozy. Lowering her head, she tucked into, turned around to face the entrance, and tucker her head in between her paws. Though her view from the inside of the den was narrow, she watched- nothing in particular.
