Has anyone noticed yet that with these third eye contests you can use them to change one eye color rather then actually giving it a third eye?

I only need one more pet to get all of the Halloween pets. I think this is the first event that I've been able to do that.

I totally didn't see the day of the dead pillars at rollover....so now I've adopted extremely late. Looks like I will be trading for every outcome because I always panic I'm going to miss something with late adopts.
