I'm not getting the bear. It looks like a giant, white, deformed koala. Polar bears don't look like that, they have huge paws to stop them sinking in the snow and their heads look nothing like that. That nose is far too big. I did a really long and detailed (for an 8 year old) report on polar bears at school a few years ago, so I have a lot of knowledge about them... It depressed me to find out that the AJ polar bears look nothing like real polar bears ;-;

This is the thing about AJ's recent animals, especially diamond shop animals. I totally support the idea behind the diamond shop, don't get me wrong. It's just that (a) they need to balance it out with animals you can buy with gems and (b) they need to make decent-looking animals.
I like that we get new animals all the time - it's just that all of them are in the diamond shop, and barely any work goes into them. AJHQ are banging out heaps of animals, each one causing a huge rush of money, which is exactly what they're hoping for. But that's also why so many people complain about the diamond shop. The first few animals - lions, arctic wolves, and snow leopards were very well designed (apart from the snow leopard's head, but I let that slide), but those animals previously existed as gift card bonuses, before the diamond shop came out. Kangaroos have an OK design - it's just that some of the items are badly fitted on them. The cheetahs have a flat head that reminds me of a squashed can, and their legs sprawl out like a lizard or a crocodile, and their body is way too low to the ground. Whenever I look at a hyena, it always looks like a pig with an overgrown mohawk. Otters look all right, but something about them irritates me - I don't know what it is, but it always feels like some part of them is not completely realistic. And now the polar bears. I thought they'd look something like pandas, but I guess AJHQ wouldn't have brought them out if they were too similar. Which is why they had to go to great lengths, with it only resulting in an entirely unrealistic anatomy for the animal.
People would actually be more interested in buying the diamond shop animals if they were actually worth buying.

I agree with you, I haven't seen the bear myself, but there is something to realise that AJ does work hard on these, maybe it does look a bit silly but that's the sort of trend that happens on AJ. It takes months and months to design the graphics for the new bear, design it, create moves, simulate how the items go on the animal and glitches.
I recall, I agree with you but we can't diss AnimalJam's effort.
Another irritating thing I hear is that people think AnimalJam only cares about money. Well that's the point, if they do not have enough money, they cannot pay their rents for the monthly website payments, the updates, and again, the more people that joins, the more money they need to pay.
When you become an adult, you will need money, okay, say that you opened a game, so clearly, you pay rents, you buy editors (etc), get equipment and get workers to assist you, the thing is, that all needs to be paid with a lot of money, so it's clear you'd be trying your best to benefit to your game and create as many updates as possible so people can buy the new trends etc.

Wonderful day. I'm suspended from AJ for three days, but I know it's just people who beg me for my spikes. When I say no they call me a scammer and report me. A lot of people do that and I guess I got enough reports for a suspension. I only go on AJ once or twice a week anyway, so I don't care.

i've been suspended for 3 days twice now. they said it was for "personal info", which was saying my name on youtube.
i do have a friend who is suspended over and over, just for being, well, uh, him. e3e
