This lil guy has a tree on his back,and on that tree is a face ^^

The markings of the pony that grew tonight kinda remind me of the Sunback's markings...

Both have that yellow/orange-ish back, their bellies, legs and faces are white and both have blues eyes.
...But I think I'm imagining things XD

While this is cool, this pony seems to be a Palomino Splash, a real horse color/pattern, which results in blue eyes, white face/stomach/legs. :3

Thanks for pointing this out, it is so incredibly awesome...I'm gonna have to play around with mine! :D



Along with having herbs and feathers, there's also a bat's wing laying next to the foal. This may be a stretch, the artist may have been just thinking of things to include, but bats hold a significance of death/rebirth, and communication, and strong ties with family/young ones. All of these kind of tie in with the idea of raising the spirit of a departed foal.
