"I'm not making you stay," Daemongeist said curtly though not coldly. His fur lifted slightly then settled after a moment, and one of his large ears twitched. "I just--I understand you can take care of yourself. So...you do that. But, you know, it's just if you...change your mind. The offer is still there." And he backed up to bend down and pick up the herbs he'd brought, dumping them at her paws. "I'm sure you know how to apply that yourself now. From all my visits you've must've picked up something, haven't you, Hidey?"

Crimson gave a small smirk, pawing at the ground. So you don't want me to leave? She challenged in her mind silently, giving a small chuff of amusement. Before she knew what was happening, or that he had come towards her in the midst of her grooming, she reached out and lashed out at his nose with a large, soft paw. "Of course I have."

Thunderstorm walked out of Volantstar's den after saying the line angrily to hear a new voice, he turned his head to see an intruder and unsheathed his claws running towards him. Taking Warrex ou of suprise he barged into the tom and stood to the side. "What are you doing here intruder? Any why are you just sitting here talking to him Bristlepelt?!" He snarled.

Bristlepelt dug his claws in the dirt. "We can't just kill our classmates," He meowed in distress. He thought about the clan. Specifically his siblings, mother, and Sparrowcatcher. He could never kill them. He continued in a quieter voice, "Yeah.. She's my moth-" He was suddenly interrupted by Thunderstorm. The nerve! Could he not see this was important. He tried to speak as calmly as possible but it wasn't very convincing. "This is Warrex. He means no harm. He has come to inform us on something new. A deadly infection," Bristlepelt meowed sternly but the worry on his face was clear

Ravenfrost padded back into camp, a large rabbit and thrush in his jaws. Frowning, he set the prey down in the pike before walking over to the group of cats. "What's going on?"

Thunderstorm snarled. "Are you insane as well as a poor choice of deputy now? This cat is an intruder to our territory and your sat here talking to him, do your duty you pathetic mousedung or I'll request for a new deputy!"

Warrex watched Thunderstorm make an attempt to barrel into the tom, he side stepped, dodging the attack with a more-than annoyed look on his face. "Alright then..." He mumbled under his breath, a bad impression already sprung on his lips. He watched as the Leader emerged from her den, confused by the commotion.

Volantstar exited her den after Thunderstorm, only to see him screaming at her son, fury took over her but she held her temper and padded over. "Thunderstorm, stop this. Bristlepelt is a great Deputy." Volantstar mewed harshly to him, and then looked to Warrex. "Who is this, Bristlepelt? Does he want to join?" Volantstar asked curiously.

Bristlepelt snarled at Thunderstorm and turned to Volantstar. "His name is Warrex. He came to tell us about a sickness. Its supposed to turn the living into walking dead.. Once some cats been infected the only way to stop it is to kill them," he reported worriedly.

Thunderstorm snorted. "A great deputy?! There a far better choices for position that him! Far better!" he snarled to her and in Bristlepelt's face.

Daemongeist startled at her swipe and had no time to react , except for a surprised grunt. Then he eyed her, rubbing his nose with a paw. "Hey," He muttered, in a somewhat hurt voice. Then he stood, giving her a glare, and suddenly bumped his shoulder into her left flank, with enough weight to topple her over completely.

Sparrowcatcher had been listening quietly with a horrified expression. Infection? He couldn't imagine what would happen if Bristlepelt got bit. He wouldn't be able to do it, he knew that. Then Thunderstorm blundered in and, automatically, Sparrowcatcher jumped to his defense.
"Leave him alone, would you?" The tabby exclaimed, digging in his paws and looking at the black tom. "You've been nothing but a nuisance since he became deputy. Just...lay off." Sparrowcatcher was no violent cat, but he was clearly fed up with Thunderstorm. He gave a quick glare at the older tom, and then looked back at Warrex.

Thunderstorm snorted. "You would think your his mate Sparrowcatcher, always jumping to his defense. Let him fight his own battles."
