the front two things on his arms [wrists and down from the elbow] mimic movements so it moves his leg roughly for him, however, he can't use it too much. the transmitting waves cause him severe headaches, and the transmitters will send a strong signal. Jean still uses crutches, and he'll wear this with the crutches as the transmitting isn't on, but stabilizes him.
